Got nothing to do with VAT...Super Value stores are in terrible shape and over the past couple years a lot more competition has come online driving people away from their stores. Despite what they think, they are not the only show in town.

You are sadly misinformed...business license fees are factored on your gross revenue, whether turn a profit or not...if I bring in $3 million a year, but my cost of doing business was $4 mil, I’m still paying the business license fee on that 3 mil figure, even though I lost money that year. Would need to run some numbers, but as it stands now, since we are barely breaking even, I’d take a corporate tax on ‘profits’ vs gross revenue.

It is a crying shame the the 'Royal' Nassau Sailing Club has not gotten off of their collective behinds and repaired their docks so they could assist in a better fashion for the various events.

Depending on how high he was flying and how far along he was, you typically start making your call descending through about 5-6,000 feet, get much below that and you won't be able to make radio contact with them anymore. The Cessna 150 was superseded by the 152 in 1977, so that plane is over 40 years old. Now, from the picture it looks to be in great shape, and so long as you keep up the airframe maintenance, you are always swapping out new engines, the plane can be totally 100% up to par and reliable...still, a small single engine 2 seater, heading out to the big wide ocean...would have me a bit on edge. With GPS technology these days, navigation is not really the concern, it's comes down to a failure within the aircraft.
