There are no third world countries, only third world people.

warning this post is controversial My resolution for 2019 is to forget about Bahamian politics period. I have concluded that The Bahamas is the richest country on planet Earth. The ONLY, and I mean only, thing holding this country back is its low IQ population. The majority of Bahamian people would be empoverished financially in any country they lived in. The question is not how can The Bahamas prosper, the question is how can a majority of black people living in paradise prosper? This question has never been answered by any country. Black people as a majority have always been poor in every country they populate in numbers. I've been wasting my time with a question that cannot be answered. If you wanted this country to prosper, all you would have to do is fling open the doors to thousands of white Europeans, Canadians and Americans without restrictions, and this country would prosper guaranteed. The question is how can a majority black country prosper? And that is a question that has not been answered by any country in the world yet, especially by a country in which corrupt politicians have stollen billions of dollars and orchestrated a welfare socialist state. In 2019, no more doom and gloom about The Bahamas economy, and no more trying to answer the impossible question.

Yep. Any doubts about corruption flowing freely in the FNM, look no further than this delay to prevent campaign transparency.

If y'all looked in the public schools ya would give up on trying to get rid of Haitians. 90% of many public schools are Haitian. Thousands of new Haitians born eat year. This country is gone folks. This is a predominantly Haitian country. Get over it and move on with ya life. Fight the things ya still can change.

We know 10% of what went down. The stamp tax was probably paid, just not to the Bahamas Treasury.

When I hear our cabinet ministers talking, I don't know if it's them talking or China talking.

The FNM are the worst prepared government ever. I am speechless at how bad they are. They're not even reading legislation. What are they doing?

BahamaPundit says...

The Guardian (8th December, 2018) is reporting that the Minnis FNM is borrowing 30 million dollars to implement the Freedom of Information Act. Why isn't this mentioned by the Tribune, or am I missing the article? This is an insane amount of money and appears to be an all out THEFT of 30 million dollars by the FNM from the Bahamian taxpayers. How in the world could this much money be required for simply revealing information to the public? I recall they budgeted 1 million dollars for the FOIA already.

The Guardian previously reported (24th April, 2018) that the FOIA would only cost 1 million dollars to implement: "The government is expecting to fully enact the Freedom of Information Act (2017) within the next budget year, said Attorney General Carl Bethel, who also noted that each government corporation has to go through extensive training, that is set to cost around $1 million, before the act can be fully implemented." "When asked about the cost of that training for information officers, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Peter Turnquest said, “We have not finalized as yet but it looks set to be around $1 million.”
