Many Bahamian business people and our government itself are about exploiting people. They want them to work for free just look at the situation with police overtime. We have a corrupt system even with insurance when it's time to pay out claims. Everyone want collect, very few want to pay.. Its immoral & dysfunction. The government is at fault for this... Pay overtime u fools u taxing us to death with VAT and import duties where's the money?

Regardless, seriously you have historical and factual amnesia. Our neighbor American is disgusted with anyone who calls themselves Royals, please enter the 21st century. A civil war was fought to free themselves from these Brits and although they had slavery as a stain on their history u don't see them worshiping or kissing the butts of Royals like us. It is the slave mentality that keeps us from progressing and the kiss ass mentality of the snowball character in Dejango that makes us enemies of our own people. We keep our own people poor with second class education, jobs and systematic discrimination. Our society is full of people like u who get ahead move out to the perimeter and look down on the rest. I believe that all of mankind should be equal and have equal rights, I unlike u don't like people who don't earn their place in life. I have respect for the hard working people of the world who labor and earn right to live lifestyle that they have work hard to live. These people have not labored or earned anything, so in my mind they don't deserve my respect. The comments of many have nothing to do with ignorance, it has to do with respecting those that work hard, make contribution, or lay down their life to deserve our honor.

This is vindictive behavior on the part of the government and commissioner. My2cents I totally agree with this statement "one has to wonder about your sudden interest in obtaining a Bahamian passport when you also meet the requirements for a U.S. passport as a legal permanent resident of more than five years". Furthermore many Bahamians would love to trade places with her but these days it is very difficult to get U.S permanent residency. The Bahamas is not the same place she sees on TV or probably remembers as a child. Citizens here live in fear of crime, and it is this fear that prevents any form of long term happiness. It appears to me like she running from something....

Waste of police resources... Killers running lose on these islands they worried about weed. We could be making billions of that stuff by providing Sun sand beaches and off course weed in all flavors.
