You are truly one obnoxious individual, always looking on the dark side. What does Bridgewater's criminality have to do with Police Brutality? You need help!
Are some of you that evil-hearted and mean-spirited? or are your emotions just getting the better part of you? Of course Mr. Smith is right again! The Bahamas should allow Birther Citizenship and thus simplify a major part of the immigration process, which would deal a major blow to the undergound trading of documents for large bribes. Probably we would see less immigration officers building large homes in certain areas of New Providence.
Wells is an upstanding gentleman with an impeccable work ethic that can match any on the other side. He is a fast learner, and a quick thinker, who always seem to to have the best interests of the Bahamian People at heart. I believe that he is growing into Prime Minister material, and may very well one day be in a position to lead this country. May God bless him!
This news is late-breaking and very relevant. The Ministry of Tourism should have settled this case a long time ago and saved the country from more international embarrassment.
I'm not aware of any rule, regulation, or law, that allows a police officer to slap a prospect. If the prospect pushed the police officer then of course further charges may accrue against him/her. We are headed down a dangerous path when we begin to justify police officers becoming also judge, jury and executioners.
You got this one wrong, again! Mr. Dames has nothing to be ashamed of. Mr. McAlpine is nothing but a Troublemaker and needs to sit small. He will definitely not be a member of parliament after the next election.
I see that nothing has changed in the past 40 years since I worked with the police force. In my day CID was filled with a bunch of minimally educated thugs who only knew how to beat suspects for their confession. Many suspects confessed just to end the torture, some of them eventually going to Fox Hill despite their innocence. The beating of suspects was learned well from the British Masters and brutally enforced by their West Indian replacements in the like of Fields, Thompson, Gittens et al. I can't believe that 40+ years later this stain on our criminal justice has never been addressed.

This Commissioner is clueless! Only thing worse is that he doesn't know that he doesn't have a clue.
