Well written, and to the point. It so refreshing to see that Bahamians are not moved in any way, shape, or form, by these disgraceful PLP antics. I guess Brave does not have anything new politricks up his sleeve.
This is absolute rubbish, and the Bahamian people will see beyond these antics of the corrupt PLP regime. Everyone knows how the system works. The Prime Minister does not investigate or charge anyone with crimes. It is so sickening that these PLP crooks, with their sense of entitlement, will do and say anything to hide the Truth of their mis-deeds. I believe that the arrests of Ms. Reckley is hitting close to home.
Frank Smith is guilty as charged. Unfortunately the investigators and prosecutors did a very poor job. No one framed him! There is no reason for Sands or Dames to resign or be fired. I am not going to hang my belief on the possible biases of a single Magistrate. I'll wait for the Appeals process to take its due course.
While the verdict in this case does not mean that Frank Smith did not commit the crime, it does point to sloppy police work. The investigation/interrogating officers did a "piss-poor" job, and it seems as those in the AG's office were not much better. It is truly frustrating to see that our D-grade average has also permeated the higher levels of our police force; or is it just that our civil servants don't give a damn as long as they are collecting a pay check. This should have been a slam dunk case for the prosecution.
I wish more Bahamians who have been extremely blessed would share more with their less fortunate brothers and sisters. I do applaud the generosity of this kind lady.
I'm certain that Mr. Thompson is sincere in his suggestion to help root out corruption, but don't we already offer the officers a reward for their integrity. It is called a salary.
It is rather unfortunate that Prime Minister Minnis does not seem to realize the importance of the timely appointment of the Chief Justice. I'm really beginning to doubt that he is truly up to the task of being a good leader.
I'm sorry, but the Ministry of Tourism should be made to pay up. They did use her son in their commercials, without the Plaintiff's permission. Also, they could have settled this a long time ago, but sought to drag it out in the hope that Ms. Sherman would not be able to afford the costs of litigation and eventually abandon her legal pursuits.

If Minnis walked on water, you would still find away of accusing him of not being able to swim. So sad!
