We are talking about a third party. If history is any indication the DNA will win no seat. It will be foolish for the FNM not to contest 14 seats. Two seats under an FNM banner is a fair price. Another bargain I could live with is allowing the DNA to ran in those area which are PLP stronghold like Bain Town and Farm Road.
I wonder if the government does proper cost/ benefit analysis to determine if the investment is even worth it. If the government is collecting 7 million dollars in taxes from the passengers then the decision is a no brainier. My concern when the 43 million dollar figure is use is the fact that Paradise Celebration also gets a part of that sum because tour operators pays Celebration millions of dollars for passengers who tours originate from Celebration.
Although I believe that a coalition will be good for both parties, the asking price was a bit too much. The person who lack political acumen is Branville McCartney. If Minnis is so bad a leader whether the FNM wins or loss, they will soon need a leader.
Its obvious that the majority of the bloggers contributing lack good political judgement. The gentlemen mentioned above positions are quite sound. To go against Minnis, you will be going against the FNM council. The choice they have is a third party or the FNM. We know the history of third parties. LBT may of wrestle control of the opposition(parliament) from Minnis but getting the council to concede to her demand is a different ball game. I can assure that this will not end well for LBT.
It's amazing how many people are willing to support a coup at the party level. That mindset is essential for a coup to be successful at the national level. I believe Loretta would probably make a good leader but I simply don't support coups.
It obvious the dissident seven are clueless of what their action says. It shouts, the hell with the FNM constitution and the hell to the delegates who voted for Minnis.
If you ever wonder if you can support a military coup if it was to ever happen in the Bahamas. There you go. Coup have those oppose and those who support. You are basically saying the hell with the process as long as it gratifies those you support.

The problem is that I doubt LBT will take a back-seat to Branville and Branville is too egotistical to take a back seat to LBT.
