Actually the death penalty is in full effect. The Bible did say, if a man takes another man life his life will be required of him. It never said who will be the executioner. Governments and laws are setup so that executions are carried out in a lawful and civilized manner. When governments refuse to exercise the right to execute then it is done in the manner we are currently observing.
How else do you expect for the stalwarts to be rewarded. The FNM's has its Mal-Jack Construction and the PLP has theirs. Someone has to shake down the Bahamian people or else the politicians can not carry on the legacy of their predecessors.
If you want anything to be done effectively gave it to the private sector. If I had it my way I will turn over the entire government to the private sector.
Its obvious there is a collaboration between certain elements in the FNM and the two major news papers to undermanned Mr. Minnis. I am a typical John Doe and at this juncture I absolutely have no opinion on Mr Minnis leadership. How do I determine if he has a connection with me or the lack thereof by the few times I hear him in parliament. Come on Tribune and the other under miners and stop trying to convince me that Mr. Minnis is not a good leader.
The problem could be solve quite easily. Put a supervisor in the tower from 9pm until....You can't expect people to work overtime without compensation.
