So when i buy items with VAT i can attribute 7.5% to PLP and 4.5% to FNM. Of course this is looking at it the way you do. I would advise when trying to big your party up (PLP) that you don't allow the other side easy ammunition at what your party has done.
If the first 3,000 is free, why do i have a minimum charge of $36 for the first 3,000?. If people are using less then that then they will see a price reduction (if i am reading my bill correctly) as i assume they will be getting rid of this charge. In which case they will make less money. Or does he mean they want to charge it as well as the minimum charge?
Whilst i understand the comanage anger, are they not also benefitting from the Government use of this. If the Government has to pay for this land, will the people be OK with having to pay more for the dump (as it is them who are using the dump). Or more to fly? And the wellfields must be used by them as well. Maybe Government should pay them out and move these elsewhere.
When they catch those boats out of the US that are doing illegal fishing they need to make sure they take the boats off of the captains. make an example out of one or two of them and the rest will follow the laws. Currently they all just laugh at the idea of anything happening to them (one only needs to look at fishing groups on facebook to see people posting catches that are above the amount they are allowed on a regular basis.)
What smart people we have running our country. They have not let anyone go or furloughed them as it will affect the economy too much. Of course the will probably have to increase taxes on the private sector to fund all this largesse. Can't see any issues with that, as the private sector is so awash with money and has been booming all this time.
I agree that its not fair to expect them to pay due to not having any revenue. But that should only be on those amounts due since lockdown. From the sound of it this amount is old when they had the revenue to pay, as such they should. Why Government agencies consistently allow companies to run bills up to the point they can't afford is beyond. me
