If thats the case we may as well give up. Though i would guess that number has been pulled from you know where. Its the same as Hurricane Matthew etc etc. Huge numbers thrown around so when it is smaller and a lot is taken off the top people won't mind as much.
As they say they just want a seat at the table, no doubt to see the size of the cookie jar. These two are part of the reason we are in the situation we are in on so many items. They have run this country for 25 of the last 27 years and could have done so much to make our country better but they didn't. The last people the current Government should listen to are these two.
Whilst it sounds good, the items at some point must be cleared by Government. They need to know what is coming into an area. Maybe they should do minimal spot checks but they do need to check.
Thats right call back Parliament so more people in Government will have to be focused on getting ready for that instead of doing whatever they can in Abaco, Grand Bahama and the other islands with the evacuees. Why? All because of politics,
How are they meant to know each and every person that comes off the islands?. Are they meant to have a NEMA official at every single marina and dock in The Bahamas to make sure each person is counted? That would be a waste of manpower.
