your whole statement has a number of contradictions. You say we aren't ready for a white prime minister and it has nothing to do with racism, and then go on to say can a white prime minister relate well to Bahamians. There are a number of white Bahamians so yes i am sure they can and the idea that if you are white you can't be Bahamian is racist. Then later on you go on to say that if it was anyone else rather then Brent Bahamians would vote for him (why not a woman by the way), but earlier on you said we weren't ready for one. So which is it? Finally On the 85% part i take it that you therefore disagreed with Obama in the US.

Just to point out but she never stayed there. She went home to her house out west each night.

I would bet that they tried to save money by not renting the generator units until they needed them. This meant they then had to wait whilst the units were installed etc. Which in turn means we the public have to put up with this. Its the same every year. Was hoping this Government would be different but they are the same. I don't fully blame them for the problems as this is a multi Government issue that should have been dealt with 20 years ago (which is why the last 2 Government are the worst we have ever had, as they knew and did nothing). But at the same time the FNM has been in power for 2 years and still not signed off on the shell deal (yes we have a new plant that will help next year, but it is always next year). If the shell deal is not good then get someone else, but for God sake doing something instead of working out how much will line your pocket.

No more PLP or FNM, a new party which would actually put the people of this Country first rather then themselves or their family etc.

When she was named i was very sceptical of it and thought it was wrong. I am glad to say i was proven wrong as i also think she has been the best Governor General since i became an adult (i can't remember those before then). Well done Lady Pindling.

Ahh yet again showing the complete disregard for the average Bahamian. They may as well just tell downtown to shut down for two days instead of having people waste hours of their day waiting in traffic. And all because us little people are not allowed police escorts to speed through the traffic.

Nice person aren't you. I doubt this young lady has ever said anything about sharks in the Bahamas. But hey if it makes you happy to be like this carry on and be miserable.

Can the Potters Cay vendors maybe help and clean up the area a bit and go to the Government with an alternate plan which can work. or should Government just go back to how it was and wait for the next crime to happen, and be slammed by the public for doing nothing. Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.

Dawes says...

If true i hope Government for once does something smart and bans them straight away. Sure have shark dives but no baiting etc. And if there must be baited do it far far away from land.

Umm did the letter writer read the article. Fusion had a back up generator, which it has been basically running since they opened. It currently is being fixed, during this time they have to rely on BPL, who in turn have broken generators.

On No sympathy for Fusion
