Umm i care about Perry and his gang. If they have been found to do illegal stuff then i want them in jail and to have the proceeds from doing this taken from them. Only if this happens will we be able to turn off this constant mismanagement and outright stealing that goes on over here.
How do you get to the family islands give more to Nassau then you get back? Just paving a road, putting in an airport and dock as well as school and clinic costs tens of millions. Nassau supports most if not all islands.
Yes tongue in cheek, though i am sure i am not the only person getting annoyed watching the level of corruption that has gone on (and probably still is) and no one will be held responsible. All along i will end up having to pay more in taxes due to this.
I don't mind more pain, in fact do whatever is necessary to sort out the economy and there by the country. However if no one is held accountable for all the money that has been overspent and basically stolen, then there is no point in this exercise. Lets just increase spending and bring the collapse on quicker so that we the public can make those people accountable.
It's OK the owners of the company were Bahamian so people are not up in arms about what they did to the workers. And as they are politically connected Bahamians nothing will happen to them, no matter which governing party is in power. As always the little man gets the short end of the stick and nothing is changed.
Condolences to the families involved, however yet again all we hear from the authorities is all talk when these things happen but nothing will change. Enforce all the laws. I am tired of having to slam on my brakes when i go on a green light because someone feels then can run through a red with impunity. If a person runs someone over and leaves the scene they should be charged with murder, and not a disgraceful $10,000 fine. Also, and even though i like doing it, bring in a ban on drink driving and using a cell phone while driving. And then actually enforce it, which i know is very hard as we seem to think that passing laws will work even if we don't enforce them.

Lol ain't nothing going to happen. Every Government says the same thing and nothing happens. This will be no different.

Fully agree. As well as the lady with 5 kids already and another on the way. Why have so many if you are struggling to afford a place to live.
