It is not the US state Departments job to warn people about US cities. That is the job of our Ministry to do. On them selecting Fish fry, i notice they say at night and not all times. I assume this means they have had reports of issues their with US citizens (which we may not hear about). Instead of us getting so defensive when this items are sent out by the US perhaps we should try and do something? They have been saying that the jet ski operators are unsafe for years, and to date it appears that our Government has done nothing, so you can assume the Government doesn't really care about these warnings.

Where did you pull that 85% figure from? Seeing as Atlantis is the biggest employer and not a "bay Street" name i doubt this can be correct. Yes the Bay Street boys are still here, but they are no longer as powerful as they were. We now have all these foreign companies, plus Frankie, Sebas, Cooper and a host of other non-Bay street business people.

But what he is doing is illegal. The court has told him. If they want what they do to be legal then change the law. Until then follow the law.

Government needs to have two laws. If the couple decide they do not believe the bible allows the man to sleep with his wife no matter what, then the wife can have their husbands charged with marital rape if it occurs. For those who believe the bible allows them to,then they can not be charged. However if these same people are caught sweethearting then they should be thrown in jail for a year or two as this too is against the bible.

Do you mean the ones that the canker disease destroyed. The same disease that hit numerous citrus producers the world over?

Sit at any traffic light on any given day across this island and you will see violations. Sometimes with the police watching. The police are aware of this and nothing is going to change.

It was Bahamians who destroyed the farms over here, farms in Eleuthera destroyed in the 60's and 70's. In the 80's the US helped us to set up a farm in Andros and we destroyed it. We can't continue to blame these outside influences when it is us who have done it to ourselfs.

This is the Minister for Social Services, it doesn't matter what is meant to be the most pressing issue, marital rape is an issue and she should support it being against the law. That she does not see it as an issue and thinks this is a matter behind closed doors is laughable.
Or is Government only meant to deal with the most pressing issues?

Wow and this is the Minister for Social Services and Urban Development. As they say, you couldn't make it up if you tried. Pathetic.
