The letter writer assumes a lot. To say if we had income tax there would be no debt and little poverty is strange. Pretty much every country that has income tax has both of these, so why would we be any different. What rate does the writer propose the income tax to be. And what effect would that rate have on the number of persons paying? As a note i am not saying we shouldn't have income tax, i just feel before it is introduced we need to look at the full effect and also what the rate would be.
Umm if treat us as an equal partner, we will therefore do the same for them and provide them with schools etc? After all thats what an equal partner does.
Lol thinking that the EIA is going to say anything that will stop the project. This has been decided long ago. I wouldn't even be suprised if there is a breakwater put in which would destroy the whole area envioronmentally.
I am sure this is already approved, Town planning doesn't often say no (even when no planning is evident). Maybe if Government would have to at the same time increase WSC, Schools, Clinics etc to take account of the growth they would reconsider. But highly unlikely.
Under no circumstances will i vote for a Minnis lead party again, and i feel that a lot of people i know feel the same. So FNM can re-vote him in as leader and expect to stay out of power for longer (and even know it doesn't look like they would win)
