Ha ha, yes I know that. Just illustrating the point!

When you think that tattered Haitian sailboats moving at 4 knots can "evade" our so-called border security, one can only came to one conclsion -- that we have none.

Perhaps the RBDF resources could be better used to help combat crime in our streets and make themselves useful for a change.

Let's not forget Ingraham is the reason the party is in shambles to begin with! Had he not stepped down in a childish fit, things would be very different now going into the 2017 elections.

Even with our new RBDF boats and the like, how are all these boats making their way into the mid to north Bahamas without being detected? Imagine how much damage the Dominican and Cuban boats can do with no one watching them - while illegals are making their way north with no resistance. Do we even have borders these days?

Great news! There was no way this was ever going to work -- no committees, studies or reports needed to figure this one out.

Now, what about Ocean Cay in Bimini? Will MSC proceed with destroying more areas in Bimini? Our esteemed Prime Minister has already signed a 100-year lease with them in 2015. They hope to have it all developed and open by December 2017.

We have enough cruise lines with poor records of conservation in the Bahamas -- have we not learned anything?

It's not like the DNA has had much to offer by way of solutions. Remember that the only reason the PLP have been able to run unchecked is because the DNA drew off so many votes as to let the PLP win in 2012. And they'll do it again. Watch.

All just so Branville can be in charge. Kind of like Borat with his "I have a chair. King of the castle" parody.

The DNA would do better joining forces with the FNM so the PLP can be sent packing in 2017. Otherwise, it will be more PLP for 5 more long years - if the Bahamas even survives to 2017 -- let alone 2022.

It's so refreshing there are honest people out there in this corrupt pirates den we call the Bahamas these days! Well done, Ms. Eldon, and thank you!

Easy -- make it easy for small business to flourish with less red tape and BS. Instead of wasting money on Carnival or other silly programs, why not use that as a startup fund for innovative entrepreneurs to encourage new ideas and developments. We need to diversify, as the golden eggs of tourism and offshore banking are fading fast.

And for God's sake, we need a better education system so that our Bahamian workers can compete on a world stage. They are way too complacent and feel entitled to a job, which in many cases, they are not qualified for. We've gotten lazy and have no idea what good service and initiative are.

And last, but not least, reduce the civil service to 1/2 of what it is now. It's bloated with people who aren't interested in doing their jobs (passport office, anyone?) and again, for many who aren't qualified to do the work in the first place. Clean up public service, and the money saved in salaries, waste and theft could be use to jumpstart the economy.

Minnis has had 4 1/2 years to prove his leadership abilities. What has he done? The party has fallen around him and he can't even manage his own party. How the hell does he think he's going to manage a country?

Minnis, if you have any shred of decency or brains -- step down now. You're the albatross that will sink the ship for good. No wonder the PLP is campaining for him. SMT!

DillyTree says...

Nope, the PLP isn't falling apart -- they look after themselves and their own.

It's the Bahamas and the Bahamian people that are falling apart after 4 1/2 years of PLP governance.

On Davis: PLP will not fall apart

Once Minnis is gone, there will be no trouble raising the money needed to fund an election campaign. Who wants to contribute to a corrupt, inept, self-absorbed man who can't lead his way out of a paper bag after 4 years of opportunity to do so?
