Whether or not he is using it as political gain, he makes a valid point. Absence of an organization at something that's publicized and follows at least some part in the organizations mission, should be noted and asked why.

Whether or not he is a hypocrite or a jack A if you will, does not relieve the centre of it's absence. People want to talk about the records of two clashing sides rather than the fundamental truth of the situation. An evil man has the ability to recognize good things.

I think Mr. Miller is a force of his own whether you like him or not because people can appreciate his absurdity over the smiles and political catechisms of more "respectable" politicians.

Then, where is the control on transport of cars into and out of Nassau? What you are proposing is a special economic zone for vehicles out of Nassau. Thus, unless people will agree to their car being permanently listed as illegal to be used in Nassau, then, this is just an avenue for smuggling cars from cheaper import points.

I agree, several times I thought a topic would be at least allowable to discuss but the section was disabled and this story being worst than most is allowed comments? smh

His words should be taken carefully for they are heavy with venom. He laying down ground work for unreasonable hikes in insurance costs for coastal properties when our risk ratings for those properties have been normalized already over the years of major and minor storms!

Insurance companies should not be allowed to reduce coverage as it implies by "asses" how they do business. Look forward to additional reductions/disclaimers considering flood waters that breach government barriers or a simple refusal to insure for flood or hold it ineffectual to claim by conditions.

We need to look at the accusations levied against him. It seems to system failed to appropriately handle his case and should be dropped but that does not make him innocent. It only makes him immune to further trials for the same issues.

Where is the family of the supposed rape, the girlfriend, and the family of the supposed murder victim? Do they still hold claims against the man? Is it going to the civil courts? Just because someone is released by a judge who sees the holding unjust it doesn't mean there aren't legitimate claims against them. Unfair treatment by one sources doesn't grant you clemency.

"All other charges dismissed for various reasons?" What is this reporting? Is the extent of reporting being done now, just someones story?

I with you on this one. I grew up by the Kemp Road Wulf Road intersection and remember casual violence. Only changed the tools.

I always look forward to your dock references. It's a favored drinking game that has gotten me in trouble at work, but it's worth it.

While I do not have enough information regarding the dispute over pay and time frame it took, I do support the right to defend yourself. If someone approaches me (I know it's alleged) with a weapon, am I responsible to get a weapon of equal power to be "fair"? Am I required to be in fear of my life and flee? Am I required to be a sheep? While the shooting seems drastically higher than needed, considering the head shot, I cannot agree that shooting the man was uncalled for.

However, if it turns out that neither men had a license and the gun was not supposed to be any of their possession, they should face unlawful firearm charges. But not murder. This was self defense so far.

Based on the information, unlawful firearm and ammunition with failure to produce a license. Manslaughter at worst for the shooting offense by the shooter. And a civil suit payout of unfair compensation for wages if it holds true that independent workers were being mistreated in pay.

At the end of the day, if anyone approaches me with a weapon for an offense instead of taking official channels, I hold I have the right to defend myself with whatever I can. I do not have to meet a man at his chosen weapon like some chivalrous knight.
