But it does not need to be owned and run by government.

What is it about this cussed airline? What is it that makes successive governments pour millions of dollars into this bottomless pit?

Someone should make a study on this because Bahamasair has an attraction that makes men spend money faster than on a woman. Man, that is some power. "Power of the "P...Plane".

Over the last 50+ years there has been a substantial decrease. As a young person you could go to the beach and wade out a few feet to get conch. Today you can't see a conch anywhere in sight.

And no, I did not clean it out as I only collected one or two for personal fishing or for food.

The Cruise Lines are building more ships than they can find ports for. The additions in Freeport and Eleuthera won't make any difference to Nassau.

You can get as many ships as you like but if the passengers don't get off the ship it wont matter.

What Nassau needs to do is clean up its act and make the destination more attractive to the passengers it is getting now.

It is clear that Mr. Davis does not know the true history and did not listen to the presentation made by Carnival. This was in the making for nearly 20 years.

Carnival spoke of successive governments. Even the PM referred to successive governments.

You are right Tal. They should remember that a civil suit is on the "balance of probabilities". That can cut both ways. O.J. Simpson got off the murder rap only to lose the civil action because of the reduced burden of proof.

Yup, government too lazy to stop the $100 million wastage. Just take the peoples money and waste 25% of that too.

$1,000 per worker at 200,000 workers is $200 million
Let's see so now they won't be able to account for 25% of $200 million.

If they had stopped the wastage the cost should be an additional $100 million or $500 per worker.

With a work force of 200,000 means they will take, may as well call it steal, another $50 million or another $250 from each and every Bahamian worker.

Wow, how to smile in your face and stab you in the back at the same time by steeling $250 worth of food from each worker.
