Someone in Qatar or Saudi Arabia or Kuwait would never think of committing this atrocious act because they know their neck would be popped. We have to enforce the death penalty which is still on the books. The Privy Council must stop preventing the legal system in our country from imposing the mandatory death penalty for crimes like this. And Human Rights Groups have to stop their softie softie approach in equating a dangerous criminal’s life with the life of a normal person. Tell me why we don’t see this kind of behavior in the Middle East? For example, Look at Kuwait. How many murders have taken place there over the last twenty years and then compare that figure with the number of murders in the Bahamas. Potential murderers will think twice before they commit this act. There is just too many murders taking place in our land. Too many and we need to stop them. The Demonstration Effect is a powerful disincentive to murder.

This is a crying shame. If it is not one thing it is something else. What ever happened to the Prime Minister’s promise a few years back that all problems with electricity on Providence, and the other islands, were over. With the new team, the the new generators and the new partnership every thing was going to be honky dory. But now we’re back to square one. We are sick and tired of this incompetent leadership of an institution that does not require rocket science.

Sure, right. Please stop the BC . Marijuana is poisonous drug. As a matter of fact one of the most dangerous and addictive. In the same class of fentanyl. Keep fooling yourself that it is harmless and has a medicinal value.

Oh what a tangled web we are weaving for future generations with this major mistake. In the rush to please the druggies the Government is relying on dated information about the effects of this drug and refusing to keep up with the current data and evidence. The recent evidence on the use of marijuana is that it is a poison and it is a gateway drug. In a recent review of the literature, it is reported that this poison alters the brain, leads to addiction, and destroys the user’s ability to lead a normal life. Furthermore, these studies show that the majority of drug addicts began their journey into drug abuse with the use of the drug. Have you ever spoken to a Rastafarian? If you have you will easily recognize how confused, conflated and convoluted is their rationale for using this poison. It is not too late to stop this fall of the precipice into the abyss. Please I beg you.

Like the new Charge D’Affaires come here to party. Her outfit is inappropriate, undiplomatic, and an affront to the pride of our nation. Or, perhaps, she was just displaying her costume for the LGTBQ Festivals she attended and planned to attend.
