> Health Minister Dr Michael Darville has described the EMT shortage as one of the country’s most pressing medical challenges. He has said training officers on the Family Islands is vital to closing dangerous care gaps.
The very corrupt, incompetent, and disgraceful Darville will never accept that he is in large part responsible for the problem he speaks of. Can't help but wonder how much he and his cronies in the private sector pocket off of major government contracts involving the ministry of health.
And let's not forget for one moment that the very corrupt, incompetent, and disgraceful Darville was appointed as minister of health by the equally very corrupt, incompetent, and disgraceful Stumpy Davis and that they have both engaged with the Cuban Socialist Regime in the cross-border slave trafficking of Cuban medical workers for profit.
I have to laugh at everyone claiming a bullet was dodged when the select few greedy power players involved in the shipping of cargo to The Bahamas by sea have for decades been sticking it to the Bahamian people. Their profiteering practices greatly contribute to the exorbitantly high cost of living for most Bahamians.
The situation here is much worse than the human trafficking that both the U.S. Government and now the U.N. Human Rights Council/Commission have accused the corrupt Davis led PLP government of participating in with the equally corrupt Cuban Socialist Regime.
The leaked documents, which apparently have since been verified, show that the highly corrupt Davis led PLP government has been knowingly participating in outright cruel, evil, and criminal cross-border slave trade activities that exploit some of the most vulnerable humans on our planet.
Yup, the ruling political elite in our country are only concerned about what they can take from people and not what they can do for people, and for them the lining of their pockets always justifies whatever cruelty they choose to inflict on humanity.
the heads of davis, darville, mitchell and cooper all need to be put on the chopping block and made to roll off it for what has happened here to both locally and internationally shame and disgrace our nation and its people.
and to think the ancestors of many bahamians were the victims of horrifically cruel and evil acts committed during the slavery era.
i now know why our ruling political elite are so easily able to treat the vast majority of bahamians as if they are modern day slaves and why our nation's fox hill prison remains regarded by international human rights organisations as one of the most cruel and inhumane places in the world.
Dr. Sands needs to tell the Bahamian people pronto if he had knowledge of what has been going on here with the Cuban medical personnel in our country. I strongly suspect Tyrant Minnis was well aware of these slave trade activities involving foreign nationals during his tenure as PM.
Pintard will be seriously comprised if Dr. Sands fails to come clean on what he knew about this most ghastly arrangement with the Cuban Socialist Regime.
The doctor and his associates had better plan on building a 25 foot high reinforced wall around their office complex with plenty of parking within the boundary of the walls to protect their parked vehicles.
It certainly would be most financially rewarding for the main stakeholders in AML as well as AML's own insurers if blame for this fire is successfully pinned on the government. And of course that would mean government's insurers having to pony-up settlement of the insurance claims which would result in higher future insurance premiums for government that must be paid for one way or the other by taxpayers.
Why are Bahamians being taxed to pay for something that will almost exclusively benefit cruise ship passengers, the very wealthy owners/operators of the cruise ships and the port, and wealthy owners of Downtown Nassau properties and businesses that mainly cater to the cruise ship passengers?
It is all too obvious that both the port and cruise ship operators are filling corrupt Chester the Jester's own pockets at great cost to the Bahamian taxpayers. This nonsense must be stopped. Both the initial capital outlay and ongoing maintenance costs of these so called "Wi-Fi hook-ups" should be entirely paid and borne by the port and cruise ship operators who are pressing for this costly project as a means of providing greater surveillance security for cruise ship passengers.
Crooked Cooper really needs to be reined in. He is constantly allowing himself to be cajoled, conned, and personally 'self-enriched' by greedy foreigners who want our hard earned tax dollars to be spent on costly projects of one kind or another that mainly benefit their own interests as opposed to the interests of the Bahamian people.
There's a lot of ChiCom money flowing into real estate investments in the Exumas. The ChiComs are keenly interested in spying on Space X's rocket and booster technology in any possible way that they can.
In addition to the great riches bestowed on corrupt Chester the Jester by Elon Musk's privately owned Space X enterprise, additional riches are now flowing Chester the Chester's way from the ChiComs as they seek to acquire the property needed for them to very closely spy on all of Space X's activities in the lower islands of the Exumas.
Small wonder corrupt Chester the Jester is feeling so chirpy these days.
> Dr Wesley Francis, the principal behind the development, told Tribune Business that he has “done nothing wrong” in relation to his Big Sur project, and asserted he had “followed the letter of the law” and all Departments of Physical Planning and Ministry of Works processes to obtain every permit needed to proceed with the ongoing construction.
**Translation:** ***I readily admit to all concerned that I, together with the previous owner of the once residential property, followed the customary practice of "ponying up" to the appropriate senior officials at both Town Planning and the Ministry of Works the amounts needed to persuade them to over-turn the initial ruling made that the property should remain residentially zoned.***
And of course the very corrupt Keenan Johnson, the Town Planning Committee’s chairman, was only too happy to confirm as much by his very telling remarks.
Johnson and certain other government officials, having 'illegally' established the precedent for commercial businesses to be set up in this long standing residential area, are no doubt gleefully looking forward to being showered with great riches as other businessmen now flock to the same area to set up shop and open their doors to the public.
My oh my.....what a disgraceful bunch of crooks, including the Doctor! You really have to feel for the residents of this Village Road residential community.
Here's the question all right thinking Bahamians should be asking themselves:
Did Trump do away with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in order to allow Elon Musk's Space X to cut 'special side deals' directly with corrupt Chester the Jester and corrupt PM Davis to make it very much worth their while to let the Bahamas be used as a rocket and booster dumping ground for hazardous debris and highly toxic exhaust fumes?
