Really don't feel sorry for him, Minnis was a huge disappointment. He would have won in a landslide if he would have done half of what was in the FNM 2017 manifesto. Instead, he lost to Davis out of all people lol.
Will the FNM learn anything from the past 4.5 years? Probably not. The same core of the previous government is still there, and as recent Bahamian elections have shown, you only have to wait for the other party to fail. Bahamians will forever be stuck in the FNM/PLP mindset.
It was disgusting enough when they said 10 years or newer. Why should I not be able to buy a used car from Florida and have it shipped in, regardless of the age? Oh wait, no one would buy their incredibly overpriced Korean and Japanese garbage that require parts shipped from half way around the world in many instances.
Just another example of freedoms being eroded in this country.
Can't wait for Kwasi or another one of his buddies to nominate him for leadership, and then have him win the vote to stay on as leader lol. I have seen nothing from the FNM so far that indicates that they have learnt a single lesson from their glorious spanking last month.
Nuclear power is a far more environmentally friendly source of power generation than fossil fuels, and much more efficient than wind or solar (wind in particular being incredibly inefficient). Despite this fact, the same idiots that screech about "climate change" are the same ones that push for the decommissioning of reactors, and then complain about rolling blackouts when there isn't enough supply to pump into the grid ala California.
"Climate change" is just another calling card of indicating whether someone is a moron or not. Funny how it is so important for Alberta to have their economy boondoggled with a carbon tax, but yet China (who emits more than the next seven emitters combined) can just fill up the atmosphere with their smog.
They actually have *unofficial* polling divisions results available on the PRD's website under GE Poll Projections. That being said, the numbers available are inaccurate in some cases. Freetown has the CoI candidate nearly overtaking D'Aguilar thanks to misawarding several polling divisions that D'Aguilar won to her. Also, some polling divisions have more votes than registered voters. I wouldn't use it as a credible reference.
Why would anyone want to become Freeport? Abaco was the #2 revenue earner for the Treasury pre-Dorian, Freeport has been in depression for years now.
The biggest hinderance to Abaco is the non-existent infrastructure, or more precisely, the incompetent buffoons that maintain it. No one wants to rebuild their home when they have to live with daily power failures and no running water.
