Announcement of layoffs and light goes off everywhere? The system is a mess but this says sabotage. I think the way BEC/BPL underperforms has a lot to do with a lack of vision and corruption over the years but also workers protecting their interests. They aren't interested in improving the system because any improvement would result in them losing their easy bread butter and guava jam job. Most of them cannot make the money they are making at BEC anywhere else in the country.

No. They leave them there and never pick em up. Sometimes funerals get announced and never happen. Especially for these thugs. I am told they bury them 6 to a box. head/tail. Sad. But if they don't care to prepare and the families don't care or can't afford to care, who supposed to care? At least they get buried - eventually.

So let me understand. People are leaving their loved ones in the morgue from now to neveruary. So if they aren't collecting the bodies who will pay the fees?

They have to raise fees. Too many bodies are left in the morgue - forever. 74 bodies? what does their burial have to do with court trials? Why can't the coroners photograph the bodies and do their scientific analysis and bury these people? Because that would make too much sense and require work. Two things largely in absentia in the Bahamas.

just fix it by the time I get home- just ridiculous how these ministries operate like someones little fiefdom. Can't get anything right if people refuse to work together, consult and communicate. The price is high for real asshole logic or illogic that dominates the country.
