Urban renewal is not the problem and shouldn't be used as a political football by the FNM or salvation for crime by the PLP. What needs to stop is the corruption around urban renewal - conceptually I don't think it's a bad idea and I personally like the bands made up of young people. In other words both parties are playing politricks with the poor and it is a disgrace.
well leading members of the association are as crooked and poor businessmen as you can get so don't believe all that you see here. the government is an easy scapegoat in this country and are probably partly to blame- but I am certain these jokers aren't helping things- too many of them have benefited from the slackness.
congratulations to you both and thank you for the positivity your life and hard work demonstrates.. out of the seven or eight lead stories, yours was the only uplifting one. thanks again.
One of the best things that can happen for Bahamians would be to give Craig Flowers a bank license. At first I was a little skeptical because my parents remember something called Bodie Bank or some such but these Canadian banks and half Caribbean banks are horrible. The sector could use some competition! Offer me a reduced interest mortgage Mr. Flowers and we can talk.
I am troubled by your words in "certain areas". Would you please clarify what you mean by that? Where are these certain areas? Seems like the majority of constituencies in the country have voted for both parties at some point in the past 3-4 election cycles.
Well at least he is trying something. Narcissist 1 and 2 aka Brave Davis and Obie Wilchcombe, who haven't had a compelling idea in years, waiting for Perry to decide and to be ordained. And Shane Gibson ain't too far behind. Not a spine among them. At least BJ Nottage tried to do something and run (did they give him National Security to punish him for running against Perry? lol) Those three just sitting in wait like sly foxes. They are about to get the shock of their lives. To The Back of The Line- right behind Fred, whose recent tactics, speak to the dictatorship that might come if he is ever elected.
