This is very sad. Even more sad is we see distraught families of slain victims almost daily in the news. Too many murders. What could have warranted this killing? Even failed relationships are not worth taking a person's life. Come on people....these things will be the downfall of this nation.
Correcting this is as simple as requiring petroleum dealers to provide better quality fuel by law, regulation or both. Amazing how we vote in parliamentarians because they give ham and turkey at Xmas time rather than lawmakers who will transform this country for the better to improve the life of its citizens. Kudos to Esso for leading the pack on providing quality products to its customers that can help them in the long run instead of line their own pockets.
Persons who knowingly withhold information that would disallow their participation in a case as a juror should be held in contempt and jailed. In the most egregious of cases where their actions are proven to be a calculated attempt to thwart and obstruct the natural carriage of justice, they should also be made to pay for costs or face even stiffer penalties. Enough is enough. A slap on the wrist for something so serious is exactly why it will continue to happen. Make them pay!
Sentence him to death. The privy council must follow our laws. Amend the laws appropriately so that they allow the courts to discharge sentences up to and including the death penalty. If the statues are explicit enough, it leaves very little room for a panel or Brits half way across the world to interpret them to mean that we can not hang ruthless murderers if the Supreme court so authorizes it.
You have got to be kidding me! ALL pilots "genuinely" sick at the same time on the same day? I hope the Union puts food on the table for these workers since it had a hand in running them up on breaks. I never understood how these unions can demand certain things from an employer. If you feel that you are getting less than that to which you are entitled you are free to find other employment. But don't tell your employer to do or die. Never understood it.
Rather than lambasting naysayers about the implications of VAT, the government should educate the public on exactly how it will work. The small bits and pieces of sometimes conflicting information being circulated by this administration is really sad and wreaks of incompetence at the highest levels. We have yet to see the long promised draft legislation and regulations as it relates to VAT. We have no official information on what to expect from this. Just sound bites and misrepresentations. Perhaps the government should blame itself for the "public hysteria" on VAT because it seems like we will know nothing of it before the July 2014 implementation date. Instead of bashing those who have doubts about the effectiveness of VAT, the government should educate us on it and help us to understand its value.
Goodness me! Not more than 96 hours have passed since the Minister of Tourism (after consultation with the OPM) indicated that NO EIA has been submitted. Who is telling the truth here?
Where was the implication Tal? Haven't you read this news report(s) before you posted your comment? For the record, I am not a red shirt. Don't make this political. Argue on the facts and the merits alone.
