This entire debacle is such a joke. Why on earth would Dr. Minnis even articulate such an asinine position?

What nonsense. The way this govt is going, I can probably unseat the sitting Prime Minister. Admit it Tal and stop the charade! Leadership is lacking badly in this town, and the PM has obviously bitten off more than he can chew. Even PLPs are waiting for the opportunity to send PGC running off into the sunset.

Hilarious. But spot on!!

Shouldn't BEC be called to account to the Bahamian people for this apparent pilferage? If regulations allow the fuel surcharge solely for the recoupment of costs from increases in the cost of fuel, then a 170:23 percent ratio has to be criminal! Mr. Ferreria, et al, should sue BEC for this massive fraud against the Bahamian people!

I couldn't disagree more. News reporting should be timely, but accurate. Why should the US media receive less scrutiny than our own? This was heavily reported outside of the Bahamas. Meanwhile....we are still waiting for the "official" identification of the victim by Bahamian authorities.

There just must be a lack of political will to fix this issue. These statistics are staggering, to say the least.

Amazing that Unions get to tell business owners that they will "not sit idly by" as you make operational cuts and adjustments that may include staff reductions. The way I see it, is so long as the staff get their due entitlements (severance pay, etc.) a company is well within its right to lay off. Am I being unreasonable here??
