What does it matter, you commenters were the one last year talking about it didn’t matter if the airport made money the govt should take it. The tax paper pays for most airports In This country just how y’all like it don’t they.
Let’s be real what multi national conglomerate is going to push millions into a loss making venture to make sure the community feels good. How many of your are pouring money into a loss making business. How about we make the place interesting and stop focusing so much on selling rum and get those flights up so the airport can be profitable. Or was it the former owners job to also build the tourist attractions and intrigue to make ppl want to fly in…
I get it is the season for political attacks. However, I think and Moxey and all candidates should stick to their plans for the community and how they intend to enact them. Especially when you have sat where she sat atop the pink building and watched as they did nothing for the community and sold similar dreams.
Furthermore, Mr Turnquest could talk all he wants now. You were the DPM and Minister of Finance why didn’t u find the fu****** money for these things and all of GB’s needs when u where there. You were a shitty MP even if an alright Minister of Finance.
There are dozens of benefits that I fund with my tax dollars that I don’t qualify for. Based on your logic The food and 100 $ they are handing out as covid relief - I am entitled to as well. The free garbage collection some get I am entitled to as well then. The grants they give to some students, then I am entitled to it as well. The grants they give student nurses then every student at UB should have it as well... the list goes on. The difference is that person over 45 are mad they don’t qualify.
What I find interesting is all the Bahamians claiming there relatives were buried and 95 percent of the names called in the inquest seem to be of Haitian descent. Anyway, Dorian was a terrible act of god. We get u hate the nasty arrogant Minnis.
Has the labor director been ratified and confirmed as a candidate? I suppose that is the tangible and factually difference. I imagine the moment he is ratified he will have to go on leave too.... But I guess it doesn’t matter y’all are judge and jury
What was political about what I just said? What is political about a person not being able to engage in direct adversarial political competition until election is over and me understanding that. But I am not being objective? Hmmm...dog don’t bark at parked car, ya always know when something hit a little to close to home
If everyone has to do it what is the injustice kinda sound like Mr Cornish can’t afford to not have an income while he pursues his political aspirations so wants the rules to not apply. Understandable. But maybe the party should have reiterated the consequences of ratification- good and bad.
