Huh? Now I don’t know if Wells should of said that like that. But doesn’t seem like acquiring appropriate freezers would be challenging - I don’t know, I stand to be corrected. Will they be used or stored for whenever/if we get some Pfizer

If mr pelican bay manager says we can build a tourism economy that is more honest. But that would need to occur in lucaya go east or west end not the industrialized corners of Freeport. Y’all better pray carnival continues its plan to build that port out east. Isn’t life funny, before Dorian everyone was talking shit about carnival and allowing the plp to politicize that project now there is nothing for anyone.

Yes, they need to get the airport, but please stop it with this tourism’s economy talk. Gb is not a tourist destination. The tourism product around here has been long dead - before Dorian. Everyone has forgotten the rotting princess and bazaar in the middle of town I guess. Fix the airport, when the tourist come what are they going to do buy rum and go back on the boat or in the hotel, rent a car then go look at borco tanks, I guess they can go to Lucayan national park. Fix the airport, I guess that’s all the investors waiting on. they are ready to throw the money on the ground soon as the airport finish.

The airport did flood the hurricane before Dorian. How can u say that the airport doesn’t flood or make it seem like it’s a rarity when queens cove down the road from the airport has flooded almost every hurricane to hit the island

Workers should be offered their severance packages. However, I don’t think it’s unfair to suggest they consider their employment prospects in this markets and what employable skills they have to compete in this market. Maybe they will invest, got back to school, start a business, pay some bills etc...

My statement was only questioning the high level arithmetic that the prospective employees would be called to engage in. So i am wondering if they are intimating that applicants are borderline illiterate - that they can’t scan a item and read the price, or collect correct change, they can’t read the label number on a tire or car part? Which is possible. The fact is anyone with employable skills that can command a salary are likely not seeking to be employed as line staff - or whatever you call it - at aid. This is likely the fate of most ppl demanding severance from the hotel industry.

If the applicants are as deficient as suggested, college/university might be a leap. Every job requires training as far as soft skills go. however, am I missing something - they are saying the ppl can’t read and count. I would think if I am not the brightest bulb, AID might be a place I apply. So again what do they mean when they say the applicants are scoring to low on the test? Are they illiterate? What exactly are the job requirements - that might weed out the bunch?

Who else applying to work for 220 at aid. But, isn’t everything on the pc, or are they saying they applicants are borderline illiterate.

I knew Culmer was a joke when he was mysteriously given Queen Honours, ha! no one knew who he was before he became FNM chairman. What a disgrace. Furthermore, he gives me buffoon vibes.
