Most Bahamian politicians are opportunists and would jump ship at a moment's notice if they felt it was in their interest. Don't tell me that Christie, Mitchell, Minnis and the whole bunch of them are in it for their party or their country. It is all about power trips and self enrichment. That's all it ever has been and all it ever will be. In general, Bahamian politicians don't care about a vision for the country. You know I am right.
I don't need to "bring narratives" from anyone - I have a brain in my head, ears to listen with and eyes to see. What I KNOW, is that Hubert Minnis is no political leader and will never be a political leader. Aside from his lack of debating skills and inability to inspire, he makes dreadful decisions, doesn't see a banana skin when it's right in front of him, cannot build a team, is so insecure in his position that he has to surround himself with Minnis loyalists. I could go on but I am getting bored.
Minnis is coming across as a man desperate for power but we already have a leader like that. It is time for someone to step forward who the country can unite behind, confident that the individual has what it takes to rescue the country from the scourge of the Yellow Pirates. Minnis it ain't!
Does Dr. Minnis really want to lead the FNM into next year's election knowing that he is unpopular within his own party far less outwith? This guy sure is pig headed!
According to PLP stooge Birdiestrachan, anyone who is not a brain dead PLP supporter is automatically biased. The people are sick and tired of the PLP and their pathetic apologists.
Izmarlian WAS a proper investor and look how he was treated by Christie, Mitchell, Gibson et al. What new investor in his right mind would want to get involved with this government?

If that is what indeed transpires then both Minnis and McCartney will be consigned to political obscurity.

The Chinese are expert at playing greedy, corrupt Third World politicians. The Bahamas was a perfect playground for them.

DR. Minnis being ousted as FNM leader is the PLP's worst nightmare - just look at the post from Birdiestrachan above.

The current PLP MP's won't vote out the PM because they are all in it together. There is such a thing as honour amongst thieves.
