You figure there might be a cheaper way of solving this problem but let's let it ride on new plate issuing. Btw, what color they gonna change to? Hot Pink? The livery drivers have white plates right, govt is red plates, Cabinet Ministers, dignitataries, HCC utilize Light blue, Dark Blue and Green respectively right? Orange is too close to yellow :) Guessing Hot Pink it is :) Put a flamingo on it, that will add to its attractiveness :)
Sad case study for Bahamian businesses, is anyone in power listening though? Every year in March they talk about changing the Business License calculations from basing off Revenue to Net Income but still nothing.
lol nice one. Don't forget the Red, Yellow, Green loyalists that don't need to read the news and just bury their heads in the sand 4.5 years at a time. If your color is ruling the country everything they do is awesome, if not, its all crap.
Get the official info released by Cabinet then people can get an educated look at the specifics of the ban. As with the previous VAT changes, no sense speaking in generalities until the official docs are approved. On a similar note, why is the new breadbasket list such a great secret? The Minister said he has the changes but is waiting to announce in the House, if there's no more consultation then pass it, give the people the documents and a reasonable timeline so they can prepare...
Wild wild stuff. Should be interesting having a 136 slip marina on the open Atlantic Ocean as well. No breakwater pictured in the artist's rendering but I can't see how any of this is sustainable with ocean swells rolling in all day. - golf course grass all burnt, homes covered in salt spray. These dudes planned this resort sight unseen ey?
I don't really understand how they are going to put docks and beachside homes on the Atlantic side of Abaco? Facing the open ocean. Based on google maps this looks about 2 miles North of hole in the wall lighthouse, and there isn't as much beach as the artist's rendering. I think some of that area is still cliffside as well, kinda hard to have a beach side marina with a cliff there...
Hold on....If the shanty towns were built outside of *"compliance with the Building Regulation Act"* in the first place; then what makes anyone think the injunction saying that no alterations can be made unless within the *"compliance with the Building Regulation Act"* will be followed???
Well said Voltaire. There's no dictating, it's the law. Just like people that think its OK to sneak through the red light because none of the other cars have started moving yet, you can't just kill a shark because YOU think its necessary.
There are some properties there that can use some help but I don't think RCL is the right fit. Guess they'll be adding "restoration of the lighthouse" in their offer to sweeten the pot.
