The government has set up three websites that are no longer valid but remain active to use for the boaters crossing to the Bahamas. There is only one correct website to use. And that website is not always up and running. Should a boater come into the Bahamas and not have the exact paperwork from the exact website that is the website of the day, customs and immigration tell him to go back to Florida. Americans are not flocking to Bahamas to escape the virus in the US. You watch/read to much news and think to understand the grim and fear media. Live in the US for a while, people are out and about and there were some major stores that never shut their doors. The new demand by Bahamian goverment, for the useless, results only good for the day it is done test, cost US residents from 150 up to 200 dollars per test. A family of 5 planning to visit Bahamas for a three day weekenf, cancelled their trip due to the additional expense of over $750 dollars to gett the testing done. The Bahamas could have used that $ spent here, along with hotel/restaurant, etc. expenses but as long as the people here support the rejection of tourism, jobs and the economy are doomed, but the people think they can isolate the country from the virus. For how long?

There is a ten day leeway that a negative test will turn + anyways during the time US visitors will arrive. If a family of 5 wants to visit short term, there is cost of $150 per test in the US, not worth spending an extra $750 dollars for 3 days, adding to transportation costs, boat registration costs, hassle to get the test and hotel costs
So it seems like the Bahamas will stay pristine but no economy for the people.
