One and two are related. Go and check and see who are writing the lyrics that promote, The rotten, subversive US cultural influences... "mostly their backwards hip-hop culture that promotes violence, promiscuity and drug use." it is not the artists bt their promoters..and all of these promoters have one thing in common: They are Satanic Jews!
.
Secondly the violent gang culture is not coming from Haiti, but America. The US spent years (under the Bush's and Clintons, developing the gang culture in it's prisons then unleashed these prison-bred animals on society. Black communities in the Us and Caribbean and in Hispanic communities in Central and South America. In fact, at one point, the gangs got so deadly in Colombia and other parts of South America, local residents had to run to the jails and ask to be locked up as protection from them. And as soon as they stepped out of the jail house, they were found in the streets with their necks slit from ear to ear. It is the Haitians that are coming from the US that promote the gang culture and violence, not those coming from Haiti

Better the happy pills than the Corona vaccine. Because no one, no one, knows exactly (except rake in Billion$ for the manufacturers and distributors). First they tell you it protects you from getting Corona but you must still wear your mask and follow the safety protocols. Then they say, well some people (or ginuea pigs) have gotten the virus after taking both doses of the vaccine. So now they say, 'the vaccine will not stop you from getting the virus, but it will make your symptoms less severe if you do get the virus, pleeze! So answer this: why have policemen, doctors, nurses, food store workers and other front-line workers stopped getting the virus en masse? Because they have developed herd immunity...and the spurts here and there is the wake of the virus disappearing.

The good news is that new corona cases in the US have plummeted by 70 percent since late January. At this rate most cases will be gone by next month (March as I have been saying since last year). The tourists will strengthen by summer and the country will have a booming winter season, especially if winter 2021 is half as bitter as this one. And do you know what that means for an FNM going into an election with a booming tourism industry and a rapidly rebounding economy? So that’s also why there will be no early elections.

How about trying to start the story at the beginning? How about starting back when murder (or crime as you call it) was not a part of Bahamaian culture or an everyday occurrence in The Bahamas? Back in ,shall we say the early 1970’s when, if there was a murder, the entire country came to a standstill. Everyone mourned with the family who lost a loved one and everyone became a ‘police’ an ‘investigator’ until the culprit of this most heinous and unthinkable crime was captured and safely behind bars. And then the community attended the funeral of the victim, some packing the church or it’s grounds, others lining the streets to watchandif participate in the possession to the graveyard and others packing the graveyard’just to see or be seen’. Because someone had been murdered. They had had their lives taken by another and it was everybody’s loss. And then as the trial progressed, many would gather under the big tree near the courts, waiting anxiously for justice to be served. Some would take days off from work or put household chores on hold to there. And they held their own court sessions under the big tree decking the verdict and penalty even before the official courts. ‘He didn’t have to kill him/ her’,or ‘nobody deserves to dislike that.’ Or ‘they have to hang him’. Forward to today and someone is shot dead even in the brightness of day or even under an early morning sunlight. And word gets out. The word on the streets is Chile das them gang boys killing up one another again.’ ‘I don’t know why they don’t hurry up kill one another so all this foolishness could stop. All this killing.’ Then the police gives their statement that will almost always include,’the victim was known to police.’ And nothing else matters after that. He was known to police, so he was a bad boy a criminal. He had to do something to get kill.’And so the family is left alone and lonely in shock, in disbelief, to mourn, and to bury their dead. And the cold hands of bloody murder moves on, in search of it’s next victim.

Do not put all your hopes in these vaccines! Many are under the impression that once you are full vaccinated (two doses) you cannot contract the corona virus. But persons who were fully vaccinated have caught the virus. So now ‘experts’ are saying the vaccine doesn’t prevent one from contracting corona but it reduces the severity of the disease. So you have less severe symptoms. So if the majority of people who catch the virus doesn’t develop severe symptoms, who is to say it was the vaccine? And since the cases in the US have plummeted some 70 percent after Biden more strictly enforced the wearing of masks and social distancing, aren’t the results of these safety measures the same as those of the vaccines? And guess what the greatest concern should be at this juncture? Let’s save that for tomorrow.

This is a serious problem in the Northern Bahamas where boats come over on weekends and holidays and load up with tuna, mackerel mahi-mahi and shell fish. They may or may not pay for a fishing or cruise permit but take thousands in marine products on every trip.

Yes, you are correct!

Sounds suspicious to close for two years rather than closing sections and renovating that way. But everyone is counting pennies these days. So those jobs should be counted ‘lost.’

PS :when the country’s police force is acting like
A gang then that too, is fuel on the fire. They kill an innocent man on his way to work and don’t have to give account, riddle cars with bullets, killing all the occupants and don’t have to account, go into a family residence and kill every adult male and don’t have to account. They send black hawk helicopters into residential areas in the dead of night and arrested persons for being annoyed for being disturbed out of their sleep, seizing phones and breaking others and you wanna talk about gangsters land?

It is not a matter of ‘not knowing how to weave baskets’, that causes the straw market to be flooded with Chinese products, but a matter of economics. Most tourists who visit the straw market are looking for cheap or ‘affordable’ souvenirs to take back home to family and friends. So they are not willing to dish out $50 bucks plus for a genuine, hand weaved basket, as opposed to a $10- $15 ‘assembly line’ product from China. So the straw market has to cater to their customers. Not long ago, the entire Bay Street was lined with stores selling 3 T-shirts for $10 because that is what people wanted. And some of the cruise directors were telling passengers they could not bring straw products on to the ships. And just as Bay Street was getting some of its class and charisma back, the pandemic hit. And unfortunately, a number of stores that have been closed for a year will not be reopening
