Make sure they do an audit at ZNS. Some people and companies will be shocked to discover they have outstanding balances in the thousands with this corporation even though they never had an account there or did business with ZNS on a cash basis. Corruption was rocking the nation.

Remember when traffic fatalities use to outnumber murders? Now murders are three or four times the traffic fatalities count. The willfull taking of another life happens up to four times more than persons dying by accident on the streets. And those who hide and cloak these cold blooded killers and ten times as bad as the killers. Turn them in!

***As in water face reflects face, So the heart of man reflects man.***
Amazing that the innocent life of an eight year old child has been snuffed out. And rather than coming together as a community and sharing in the family's loss and joining forces to help find the killer of this young man, more effort is geared towards tearing down the people that are trying to reach out to this grieving family and criticizing the efforts by the media and others to expose this heinous crime and attempt to bring the criminals to justice. So many of us are not our brothers keepers, we no longer have even national pride and so like great, hungry unfed piranhas we tear into each other, anxious to consume the very flesh that made us common.

Tal Russel, at least it is much better performance than your pretense at trying to grasp the English language. Amazing what emotions and despair can due to a person.

Is there any truth that this entire family was harassed, arrested and detained by police last night. And the father and uncle and siblings of the murdered victim threaten at gunpoint that they will be killed? Was it true that even the pregnant mother was taken into custody? What is going on in this country. This is what was reported live on national radio and if it is true the officer responsible must be made to answer for the actions of himself and his officers last night.

Did I read correctly? The company has $500 million in assets and they are seeking to buy Ginn su mer valued at $4.9 Billion? Another Bah Mar fiasco?

John says...

I must salute the police's plea for persons to turn in the killers of this young boy and who also killed the other young male. Maybe it is time that when tragedies like this happen, multiple killings especially, every single radio station in the country devote a part of their broadcast day highlighting the incident and pleading for the persons responsible for the crime to turn themselves in. And also begging persons who may have witnessed the crime or know who the criminals are to turn them in. Even if they even have some small tidbit of information that may point the police's investigation in the direction of the killer. Society must against
crime and criminals. Make it so uncomfortable for these persons to be on the run. So impossible for them to hide Send a loud and clear message that the community will not shield you, they will not hide you, they will not share the bloodshed that is on your hands and, in fact, some may even seek vengence against you, so better you turn your self in. better still send a clear message to those out there who are contemplating murder, rape, robbery or any other serious crime will think twice because you won't get away. society will not cloak you. They will help bring you to justice. WE had enough and you will not run free.

The old retail model for business in The Bahamas has long expired. It requires just too much cash up front and the taxes are too high, compared to Florida. And there is easy access to markets by consumers who cut out a lot of expenses but cutting out the middle people. In Miami, for example, you may have dozens of retailers sharing, or at least having access to the same inventory. So if you're looking for a vehicle with certain specs, a dealer can load the information into his computer and locate the vehicle for you. He can get part of the commission without even having to stock or physically handle the vehicle . The same is true for car parts and other high end items. This put dealers here at a great disadvantage. They they have to pay high customs duties on items that may never sell. Then vat on top of that. It's a difficult market.

So it will not be an easy decision but some assistance must be offered. Make the best of it, even as a cultural exchange for students and teachers. School hours can be varied to adjust for classrooms and equipment shortages and time is of the essence. Once the decision is made there can be adjustments to make the program more effective and accommodating.

All sectors of the Bahamian have slowed since May 2017, and even the experts have concluded that the overall Bahamian economy has contracted in 2017. Meaning negative growth. To make matters worse retail food prices and gasoline prices and utilities have increased. And with Bahamians , like many people in South Florida and around the Caribbean have been forced to spend additional funds on hurricane supplies and materials to secure their homes and properties against hurricane damage. The large losses of citrus in Florida have pushed the price of orange Jude near to $12.00 a gallon here and consumers are being alerted that gasoline prices will climb even higher as refineries are slow to recover from hurricanes. Building supplies will now only see price increases but many items will be in short supply as Texas, South Florida parts of the Bahamas and Caribbean attempt to rebuild. Now was Mr. Albert saying about new car sales being off? And not to forget there was over a million vehicles damaged or destroyed in the US alone. Some of these cars, too, may make it to the Bahamian as you know, Bahamians are suckers for a deal.
