The ideal thing in this situation would be to find temporary housing and schools for the children and their families and teachers. But when you talking about relocating students, and having to find food and housing for them , this is a massive undertaking. And expensive. Better than bringing them to New Providence would be to find suitable accommodations on a family where the students can be in a controlled environment so and reduce the influence of external sources and cultural shock. Then you must think time frame: How long? Then getting them back to s recovering home town, some still shell shocked, not impossible but difficult all the same.

When a person is hanged for murder he is put in a wooden box, hastily constructed and stained, and buried as a pauper. No church funeral. No setting up. No marked grave. Family and friends have to share in the shame of his indignity and cowardly act. They get feel some of the pain of having a family taken away in an inhumane, instant and undignified manner. Capital punishment is more than putting someone to death, hence the effectiveness.

If there is no God then what was?is the purpose for man's creation? Most people who spent most of their lives trying to disprove the existence of God die being the strongest believers.

another big problem in this country is that the population have become too passive towards crime and too accommodating of criminals..killers especially. To unconcerned and inactive. If this tragic crime had happened in certain countries the person or persons who killed this young boy, even before he came into the prime of his life, a child who was innocent and supposed to be home safe in his parents house, minding his own business. His killers would not have spent another night free. in fact they would have been running to the nearest police station since the incident occurred. Even the thugs and hardest street boys would help flush these killers out and get them to face justice. They would run to the police for fear of what could happen to them. They would be scorned and unwelcome by even their best friends and even family. Civil society does not tolerate child killers whether they are the intended victims or not.

Crime in the United States is up six percent over the past two years. But the major factor contributing to the increase in crime is the increase in shootings and murders in Chicago, which are up 20 percent. Like New Providence, Chicago also has a problem with gangs and guns and a lot of young people being killed. To the point of where the president wants to send in the army. And if you deduct the amount of murders and other serious crime that happens in New Providence alone, the rest of the Bahamas is among the safest and most crime free places in the world.

They need to do a listing of ZNS accounts. There are persons who have accounts at ZNS with balances in the thousands. These persons and companies may not even be aware that these accounts exist dating all the way back to 1992 (when FNM came to power). Apparently when ZNS was about to be audited back then, large amounts of unpaid balances were transferred to dummy accounts and to inactive accounts to hide who (PLP businesses, party and supporters cronies) actually owed money to the corporation. While some people and companies were able to get these accounts corrected, those who were unaware of what was happening still have these amounts showing against them.

Should 100 jamz be playing that says something to the effect 'I not gonna commit suicide, I just gonna kill myself,'. When the instances of killings and suicide are so real and so prominent in this country? These messages being played over and repeatedly on a national radio station are eventually planted in the subconscious of an individual and may be the trigger someone who is contemplating suicide or even murder needs. They also play a song promoting the use of mollys (made with cocaine and bath salts) and per cadet (percadan) which is an abused opioids. The lyrics say 'you don't need a prescription.'

Some suggest that more than fifty percent of the murders in New Proviidence are gang related. Gang warfarin. Retaliation shootings, revenge killings, cases of mistaken identities and even gang members turning on each other. That amounts to some 500 persons being killed by gangsters in the past decade. And from all indications it is getting worse. The motives of gangs are to create mischief and disharmony in a community, to war with other gangs to the point of eliminating them, to kill persons that oppose them in the community or persons they deem are 'undesirables ' and to use crime, including the sale of drugs and weapons to finance their activity. They recruit members at a very young age, even fifth and sixth graders and the motto is once you're in you can only leave dead. And there in lies a problem. As young boys grow up and become wiser about what gang life is about they want out. And trying to leave a gang or failing to carry out their orders will eventually result in death. And while there are laws on the books with severe penalties for heading a gang or being a gang member, there is currently no one in jail specifically on those charges. And so New Providence continues to be a killing field..in fact, almost a killer's Paradise.
