What Bahamians have not yet realized is there are external forces that will take control of your country's finances and drive the country into bankruptcy if you let them. It has happened to many countries around the world including Germany, Venezuela, Brazil, Italy and even China, the United States and Britain are not safe from this financial web. As well of many Asian and African nations. They give countries easy credit and allow them to pile debt on top of debt. Eventually the debt becomes to a point where the country cannot pay it. So the citizens of those countries become modern day slaves as all of the country's resources go to paying the debt. Then the government of those countries become embattled, estranged from the people because they can no longer provide the country with basic essentials. Civil strife breaks out and the country becomes a failed state. There is only a very small window of opportunity to avoid this happening to the Bahamas.

John says...

Nation building may be a continuous task but it is not endless. Endless tends to point towards hopelessness and without positive results. Continuous efforts means you go from strength to strength. You set goals and once they are achieved then you set more goals or revisit ones that are not accomplished. The world is evolving so nations, if they are to be successful, cannot be stationary. And fortunately the nation building responsibility must be passed from generation to generation. And unfortunately in the case of our Bahamas, we haven't achieved some of the basic essentials of nation building. Food supply and food security, modern and reliable supply of energy that is affordable to the common citizen. In fact we are not yet comfortable with empowering Bahamians financially. And so most of out economy is still controlled by the foreign element. And much of our natural resources are being frittered away, not unlike when Africa was raided of its natural inhabitants to support the slave trade. After 44 years the Bahamas is still at the point where many of its young people go off for education and never return. And many other citizens leave for lack of employment opportunity or for political reasons. There's lots of work to be done, but the job is not endless. The key is that the generations that follow meet the country in a better condition than you did, physically, socially and economically.

Can we ever see another July where there are no murders? Last year the country was on the verge ok keeping the murder count under 100. Then as the hurricane approached in October the murders increased and continued non stop up until now. June may have saw a slight decline but July had to be zero to match last year.

The PLP will not win in 2022. I am not a prophet but I believe a number of events will happen around the world, and especially in the US, that will cause many Bahamians to return home. Some of these will be second and third generations of Bahamians, some who have never lived in theBahamas. And some never understood why their parents or grandparents left the Bahamas. But they will come back with both education and experience and also the desire to save the Bahamas and make it the greatest little country it should be. They will not have time for PLP foolishness or their corruption. And they will not let the PLP rejects interfere with their mission to build this country and to stop it being raped and to stop its natural resources being stolen to enrich other countries and individuals. This will happen all over the Caribbean and Africa and even in those middle Eastern countries that are having their pill ripped off under the guise of terrorism. Just watch🙏

The reason many of the PLP has berms are rude and arrogant and cocky is they do not see any wrong in the wrong they to this country and to the Bahamian people. They were acting with their nature and they will not seek forgiveness or stop being cocky because that arragonce is their nature. What they didn't expect was for the PLP electorate to abandon them and kick them out of office and kick them to the curb and are still kicking them now after the dirt this dirty, rotten no good corrupt PLP government did is revealed. And the best way to deal with these political rejects is for the FNM government to perform diligently over the next five years. Keep the PLP in the wildernesses for at least a decade. So if and when they do regroup and if they come to power, all, yes every last one, who served under the last Christie administration will not be partskers. Time would have marched on and nature will have taken its course

Think about it Bahamas Waste will have to have its fleet of vehicles on the road for 270 days, plus rent out its portable toilets, plus service it's portable toilets for 270 days just for its income to match the $8 million that was paid to this one contractor for several weeks work.
