‘I the beginning of creation, God bequeathed to mankind a world of perfection and peace where humans are expected to live in harmony with one another.’ Fast-forward to the present world of today, and you will see that it is a complete contrast to God’s initial plan. We see a world plunged in utter chaos, crime and turmoil, among others. The reason for these transformations is not far fetched

In fact, it is in fulfilment of the scriptures that as the earth grows near its dying days, the world would be thrown into utter peril (2 Timothy 3:1). It went further to give an apt description of the evil to be perpetrated by mankind.

Let’s take a look at the unprecedented height of immorality in the society today: incest between relatives, legalisation of homosexuality and abortion in many countries, traitors, persecutors, despisers etc. Flagrant disobedience by children to parents and constituted authorities, increase rate of cultism among the younger generation, drug abuse, alcohol and all manner of addictions. Blasphemers of the church of God, and that which saddens me most is the recent spate of money ritual going rife among today’s youths. Every single of these variables are perfect fulfilment of the scriptures, indicating that the world is in its twilight.

We have to be reminded that no one is immune to the sin and peril of the last days, because we are all offspring and descendants of the first man, who by virtue of their disobedience in the Garden of Eden passed that seed of sin and wickedness down through generation. The only one true way we can be free and insulated from these evils is through Jesus Christ, Who was conceived not by man but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

It is pertinent to make that decision to ensure your safety here in the world and assurance of a Joyous eternity with the Lord. There is basically no fun and reward in a life of sin, as it breeds only guilt, death and eternal anguish (Ezekiel 18:20). Would you rather continue in sin, living with the guilt it brings? Would you lose eternal happiness or embrace salvation and enjoy peace of mind, safety in the Lord and ultimately fellowship with Our Lord in eternity? Christ died for our sins (1st Corinthians 15:3) His blood was shed for our sake (Matthew 26:28) It is the only way known to man to escape the dangers of this present world and a place in glorious eternity. Wouldn’t you rather do the needful now? Go on your knees and bare all to Christ, repent of your sins. (Act 3:19) Be committed to your decision and you shall continue to have victory, peace of mind and joy of a place in heavenly eternity.’

Was this headline intentionally meant to be misleading with a negative connotation? One would think it is referencing Covid cases and not booming sales.

The Bahamad has let the hoteliers force it out a mask requirement law that the US had been trying to bring back in that country for months. But a judge has made the law requiring the wearing of masks illegal. Some individual states now require the wearing of masks in public spaces and when traveling.

The Bahamas is one of the most gullible nations on the face of the earth. Always a whoring after strange gods. So now Michael Darville and crew will tamper and finger one of the most healthy and least affected groups in the country by giving vaccines to children who have already developed natural immunity. Ask the doctor if there’s any vaccines that have been effective against Covid since the Omicron variant appeared since October . 2021. And ask him if just as many people, including the president of the United States and tge embattled prime minister of Britain, been infected with the Omicron sun variant. This is now the dominant strain in the US and most parts of the world. And the reason the vaccines are ineffective is this sub variant treats the vaccines as a foreign substance invading the body and attempts to get rid of it. Persons with compromised immune systems , who are fully vaccinated and boostered , like the US president and the Bahamian prime minister is, can still get sick and will require treatment and possibly even hospitalization. Children with strong immune systems will probably not even know when they had the virus. That’s why experts, other than Anthony Fauci are advising to discontinue the vaccines. And even Fauci is strongly suggesting returning to wearing of masks in that country. They cannot make mask wearing mandatory because a judge has ruled that a mask mandate is illegal.

Did the hose really break or was it improperly attached and/or left unattended. Sometimes things that are supposed to be routine are not so routine and can easily spell disaster. But at the end of the day, someone has to stand responsible. Don’t forget all the oil that was spilled on Grand Bahama during the hurricane. Did the Bahamian government or the people f the Bahamas receive one single red cent in compensation or even a single word of apology?

Haitians are probably the ones in this part of the world that loses the most lives trying to seek a better life here in The Bahamas and then the US and Canada. At the US ‘ Southern Border it is mostly Mexicans and South Americans who get lost or lose their lives in the jungle trying to journey to the UD. And many also die trying to cross raging rivers at the border. And some die suffocating in trailer trucks or by some other smuggling operation gone wrong. In Europe it’s the South Africans that try to sneak their way into Europe and in Asia various nationalities also try to cross borders illegally to seek a better life. Fortunately for Bahamians, their diaspora is not as treacherous and life threatening and, in fact, some don’t fine it’s better just to stay at home.

Very nice place and Bahamian people. Do they still have Goombay over there. Remember when the police band and Junkanoo groups from here use to perform. When the name Little Haiti and Little Cuba and Little China started, it was derogatory. But most of the communities outgrew that and now display the pride of being associated with their roots.
