Well it has been the case in most of the 25 plus US states that have legalized marijuana. Many claim that the ‘quality’ of unregulated marijuana is better and cheaper and it is a case of ‘illegal weed chasing away legal weed.’ The point is once marijuana is declassified as a category A drug more people will be willing to take a chance ‘handling’ it. And since it will no longer be considered ‘high risk’ the price will obviously fall. So government El definitely realize less revenue from licensing fees and taxed if some adjustments are not made.

The US Department if Justice is currently in the process of reclassifying marijuana from a most g dangerous drug category to a less dangerous drug. And so yesterday, US President, Joe Biden stated that no person will go to jail for possessing or smoking and normal amounts of marijuana.

So what does that mean for the Rastafarian? Well once the drug is declassified is a class A drug, more and more people will be willing to take their chances with it. Meaning less and less people will be willing to shell out large amounts for marijuana licenses. So government will have to either reduce the fees and the requirements or the Black market will take over

Speaking out on this matter, on either side, is like lighting a stick of dynamite with a short fuse and standing there with it in your hand. You know it will explode. And remaining quiet is like sitting in a room with a time bomb somewhere in the room. You know it is there somewhere and you know it will explode. You just don’t know when.

Most people would heed the advice and stay out of the fray. But persons, like President Biden, who must now not only declare whom he is supporting, but also supply that side ( Israel) with bombs and weapons to fight against and probably destroy and wipe out the other side ( Palestine). And most Christians are taught the famous quote ‘ I will stand with those who support Israel and and I will destroy those who stand against her ( Israel). And for many, that should be the end of the conversation ‘ I on God’s side and so I support Israel. But what does Jesus mean when he said ‘Woe unto you who say you are Jews, but you are not.. and he goes on to tell them who they are.

. Well whether you choose sides or not or choose the right side or not is immaterial at this juncture. Why ? Prophecy is being fulfilled and those who occupy ‘Israel’ at this time bwill prevail ( for now). What will ll happen to the remaining Palestines is uncertain. They will have to flee, or they will have to assimilate or they will be killed. The people that occupy Israel will take full control, they will rebuild the third temple and the abomination will take place. Those who chose the right side will be caught up. Those who didn’t will meet the son of perdition. The abomination that will cause desolation.

A lot of this legislation this ( late) Bahamas government is trying to pass will be obsolete if marijuana is reclassified into a non dangerous drug like asprin and cough medicine

The reclassification of marijuana by the federal government will make many of the law on prosecution for marijuana bill and obsolete in any event, regardless of what Tge Bahamas Government does and it will send a lot of those federal agents ‘on vacation ‘ in Tge Bahamas and the Caribbean back home. Today Joe Biden said’ ( after 40 years of drug wars in The BaHAMAS and the Caribbean, ‘No one should be in jail for ordinary possession or consumption of marijuana and the reclassification of marijuana to a lesser dangerous drug catergory will ensure that doesn’t happen again. Will inmates serving time for marijuana possession be released?

Again once this project gets started and steel in in the ground. Government should focus on dividing PMH into three zones ( excluding the section that was completed under the Hubert Ingraham Administration. A detail plan for zone one can be drawn up and once the new hospital is completed the entire section of zone one can be torn down and reconstruction started. Adding additional floors to create more space. Then plans for zone two can be completed as zone one nears completion and demolition and construction began when it is completed. Same for zone three. If adjacent property is vacant or available it can be included in the plans. So in 10-12 years, PMH can be transformed into a full, brand new state of the art hospital and emergency center. And since it will be done in stages there will the cost will be spread over a 10-13 year period rather than in just one budget. And unlike having to construct a brand new hospital and relocate the size of the construction project will br in three phases and reduce the chances if high costs overruns or unbearable delays

Will this be like the Central Bank where plans were scrapped at the last minute and millions lost? The point is with every project there will have to be trade offs. And one of the variables that may be lost but never recovered is time. There are also applications that give numerical values to all the variables: positive numbers to positive variables and negative values to negative impacts like noise and traffic congestion. Then the app will say how positive the project is or how negative it will be and should not be build.
