Did anyone see the new product that The Tesla company unveiled today? It is a solar wall that consists of solar panels and batteries to power your home. It ties into the grid and uses smart technology to use a combination of solar power and stored energy to power an entire home. When there is a power outage the system switches to solar or battery power without the homeowner having to do anything and there is virtually no power interruption. The aim of this product is not only to produce clean, green energy but also to make homeowners less dependent on the grid. It sells for around $3,500 in the U.S., and will be available by late summer
Sometimes you have to wonder who is the real underlying force behind crime in this country. Like who is bringing in the guns and benefitting from the sale (guns sell for three, four, five times on the illegal market than what they sell for in the legal market). And with all the negative publicity the country is getting and the level of misery crime is causing Bahamians. just wondering...who are the real benefactors of crime in this country
Bahamians who know what's going on and those who don't know and those who are confused. Find some time to go this weekend and don't worry what bathe preacher is preaching just fall on your knees in silent prayer and ask God for knowledge wisdom and understanding about the tribulations we face. All I will say beyond that is Monday will be a different day Babylon is falling!
All of us need to vote DNA as a protest catch the rest of them crooks off guard and let the truth be told but they have some serious characters running doe

So are we going to make the same mistake with BEC that made with BTC? Bring in a company full of marketing gimmicks and suck out every dollar they can out this economy? Then have to turn around and hire the same (Bahamian) person they fired to fix the mess they made of BTC. When last did you have a dropped call? Can you hear the clarity on your phone now? We have enough human and financial resources within this country to fix BEC exclusive of direct foreign involvement. Keep the jobs at home. BEC can sell 49% of its worth exclusively to Bahamians and appoint a competent and qualified, non political board of directors to oversee the company. The money generated from the sale of shares along with the floating of bonds can raise more than enough revenue to fix BEC. Once the company becomes profitable those funds will remain in the country.
We need to juice them back: turn off everything electrical in your home or business you don't really need. Turn your heater off completely during the summer and take baths in the early evening when the tap water is still warm. Start investing in a solar grid. A single solar panel with a battery can run security lights for the entire night and it will allow you to have light when there is a power outage. You can then add capacity to power your TV/cable and other equipment. If you put a galvanized water tank in the most direct sunlight part of your yard (30-100 gallons). It can provide enough warm water on sunny days for an entire family of four to shower without any additional heating. Have the areas of your building where you use a/c sealed and insulated. The better the insulation the lower your electricity bill.
Vat revenue is $28 million a month plus the quarterly filing businesses pay this month so your government will be collecting around $40 million this month from VAT. Then the games and carnival bring more money for them. Tell us why they cannot fix BEC. Except they ripping you off. #fuelscam
