You mean tourists and Bahamians aren't excited by the idea of getting a swab up their nose (and paying for it) and applying for a health visa in a rush and risking plane tickets and hotel adjustments etc all to happen in just 5 days from start to finish?

I just can't believe that. Maybe it just be reduced from 5 down to 3 days and see if that works any better.

This "acting" financial secretary - what movies has he acted in? I've checked online and found a Marlon Brando, and a Don Johnson - but no Marlon Johnson. Uhm. Strange.

"The Bahamas will continue to work with CFATF (the FATF’s Caribbean affiliate) to improve further its anti-money laundering and counter-terror financing regime.”

Why would there need to exist a CFATF??? Are there different rules for us negroes? Why can't everyone just be a part of the FATF and follow the rules set out worldwide?

All this new compliance means is that when I go to the bank now to cash my measly pittance (sometimes called a wage), I not only have to bring my drivers license and voters card, but will likely have to bring a copy of my grandmother's birth certificate and a letter from her podiatrist attesting to her shoe size.

I and other Bahamians will continue to be treated like criminals when we attempt to open a bank account or make any changes to our address (God forbid you should have to move, and even worse if to another island) - meanwhile the rich people who these Acts claim to be focused on will continue to operate without any frustration whatsoever.

In the last 20 years of this foolishness, I have never seen a photo of even ONE person convicted before the courts for any of this supposed tax fraud stuff. But that's the thing, it catches nobody - it just deters the poor from having any hope or prayer. Negroes just have to obey the CFATF while entering thru the back door and staying away from the white man's water fountain enshrined by the FATF.

" When I talked to family and friends about it, they said ‘oh they will inject microchips into you. Oh it’s the mark of the beast.’ How many things in the last 34 years have they said, ‘oh it’s the mark of the beast’?”"

it is the mark of the beast because you will not be able to buy or sell without it. You will not be able to enter into food stores without your vaccination card. You will not be able to go into government offices to renew your driver's license etc without it. You will not be able to fly on any planes without it, not even enter the airport. You will not be able to go to the movie theatre or any motels or any place worth going (yes, in the Bahamas) without your health proof card.

Most employers will also required employees to be vaccinated in order to work.

So, as the Bible said, you either receive the mark - or die of starvation.

Tal, we can't afford to administer the first vaccine - the cooling costs are too high. If you see that they do the first one, rest assured we will never see any invoices.

Absolutely correct. Our curriculum for the BGCSE exams is unbelievably stupid. In fact, we need a new adjective to describe how stupid they are.

You got it. Lots of money for those who always get the money. Not a red cent will go into the bank account of any ordinary Bahamian. Besides, Bahamians are quickly becoming a minority in the Bahamas anyway, so it probably doesn't matter. I heard another 300 Mexicans gone into Treasure Cay Abaco to complement the other 300 that went to Guana Cay. Wonder what other islands have Mexicans and Guatemalans working while we starve to death?

I'm guessing this oil company did not go through our "One Stop Shop" investment office, otherwise all requisite permits and compliances would have been done from the get go. Wait though, did we ever get that one stop shop office set up? Of course not - LOL.

proudloud - it seems when it come to Biden and the election or just Biden himself, there is no evidence of anything. Those who speak about it are always reported on CNN etc as "claiming without evidence." The courts won't accept any cases so that evidence can be heard - so that kinda helps the narrative that there is none.

I'm sure Russians that try to sue the Russian government are dismissed similarly, and I would not even mention North Korea. Can you imagine a NK citizen trying to bring any action against the government there? LOL. Seems like USA is following suit. If you have a disagreement or have witnessed any kind of corruption then keep you mouth shut. I guess that's part of that "new normal" we've been hearing about.
