Even more serious would be to say that the profits be split evenly among NIB accounts (of those aged 18 and over who are living) and none go to sovereign wealth fund or our infamous "consolidated" fund. That would of course mean that the Bahamian people would actually get the profits from this discovery - and we know for sure that can't be allowed to happen. So sit back and watch as untold amounts of money move from points A to B without us knowing the amounts or the A or the B.

Canada and France have serious laws that curtail free speech. After the Charlie-Hebdo massacre was reported by Fox as being carried out by "Islamic" terrorists, the mayor of Paris threatened to sue them for that statement. Here in the Bahamas we have very sensitive defamation laws and you need to be really careful what you say about someone (esp if that someone can afford a lawyer).

More troubling than that, however, (because that war has already been pretty much lost) - is the fact that entire subjects are simply off limits for any intelligent discussion. Covid has joined the ranks of such topics as 9-11, The Glass-Steagall Act, Uranium One, Iran-Contra, the Kennedy assassination, the Holocaust, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and of course the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913.

The mere mention of any of those topics immediately brands you as a conspiracy theorist. The power of the media to control public opinion has been well studied and well tested over and over again. Proven, really. Such power allows the CIA to carry out any acts it feels in its own unregulated "wisdom" are necessary. Maintaining a very horrible education system both here and in the USA and elsewhere ensures that the argument can always be made that the people are not wise enough to understand these decisions in any event. Thomas Jefferson said that democracy cannot exist without an educated populace. Knowing the populace we have today (worldwide), do you really believe we live in a democracy?

Except people won't be free Honestman. There is no law been passed that says employers cannot bar you from the workplace unless you show proof of having had the vaccine. No law that requires other businesses to allow you in as a customer - banks, insurance companies, medical centers, etc, and government offices like drivers license and NIB.

So what will likely happen is that government will not require you to have the vaccine, but they will just stand idly by and allow every clown who wants to make up their own rules do so - and many will be unemployed or otherwise harmed by not receiving services required to sustain life.

The goal is clearly to MAKE everyone become vaccinated. This is showing to be true in the USA since while there is a cry that there is currently not enough vaccines available for those who need them - there has been no suggestion that those who have already tested positive an recovered can hold off for the time being if they choose to. Nope - they are required like everyone else.

All this new compliance means is that when I go to the bank now to cash my measly pittance (sometimes called a wage), I not only have to bring my drivers license and voters card, but will likely have to bring a copy of my grandmother's birth certificate and a letter from her podiatrist attesting to her shoe size.

I and other Bahamians will continue to be treated like criminals when we attempt to open a bank account or make any changes to our address (God forbid you should have to move, and even worse if to another island) - meanwhile the rich people who these Acts claim to be focused on will continue to operate without any frustration whatsoever.

In the last 20 years of this foolishness, I have never seen a photo of even ONE person convicted before the courts for any of this supposed tax fraud stuff. But that's the thing, it catches nobody - it just deters the poor from having any hope or prayer. it is the mark of the beast because you will not be able to buy or sell without it. You will not be able to enter into food stores without your vaccination card. You will not be able to go into government offices to renew your driver's license etc without it. You will not be able to fly on any planes without it, not even enter the airport. You will not be able to go to the movie theatre or any motels or any place worth going (yes, in the Bahamas) without your health proof card.

Most employers will also required employees to be vaccinated in order to work.

So, as the Bible said, you either receive the mark - or die of starvation.
