As for Vaughn being virtually unheard of - most MPs are unheard of. They go into a cave for 5 years (in Ragged Island? LOL) and wait for re-election time to show up with chicken and beer aplenty. You only hear of a few from time to time like the goat & bird man, and you be grateful to yourself that you don't own a farm cause your goat might have gotten killed from a similarly unheard of oil spill.

Trying to increase the Chinese owned Container Port? Uhm. I smell a rat. Hope he don't end up in my take-out.

Are they informing people where the VAT money gone? They could just put the debit/credit listing online - much easier. I'm sure every dollar has been carefully tracked in the computer - LOL.

It is now politically incorrect to ask where the VAT money gone. You are branded a fool. Just pay it and be quiet. Might it increase? It might. If it does, pay that and keep your mouth increasingly shut.

Many persons will be willing to entertain the idea at this time with the economic crisis - but as soon as things turn around and money is flowing, they will return the focus to the St. George and Hayward families being white and "foreign". This was an argument by many against the "Tech Sector" idea 2 years ago - too many "non-black" persons would infiltrate the country. How many tech licenses were issued? How many work permits were issued before or after the 30 day deadline?

Many would prefer to eat Ramen Noodle and weenie sausage. And how come dem weenie meat is so bright?

Do you mean their experience of being "... faced with large groups of fatigue-wearing, machine gun outfitted officers descending upon the property with patrol lights flashing, terrifying guests and disrupting business repeatedly..."

I'm impressed to see that nobody has made any racial statements here, and those that "may" have were sly enough to "cover" them. I'm sure that this has nothing to do with race. Not in the Bahamas. Absolutely not.

The people in Hope Town know the people they have brought there and paid wages to for decades now. Many have advised them against it. They continued. Now they want to make noise? I have no sympathy for them.

The only island left in this country is Long Island. With the current precedent being set in Little Harbour, Abaco - it is only a matter of time before some foreign "investor" is allowed to come in and destroy Long Island as well.

Ghana in Africa has offered asylum to African Americans in USA, maybe they can help us also to go there? Maybe we can have the rights of citizens if we become citizens there? ...cause we sure don't have them here.

Sounds like government planning another trip to China with hat in hand. I'm sure they can't wait to see ya. They won't be in a lending mood this time, though. My belief is they will just come here and take-over on January 21st. The game is over, and now the whole world is going to find out just how expensive all those "cheap" Chinese goods have been over the past 30 years. We all knew there is no such thing as a free lunch, but proceeded as if we did not know. Now it is time to pay the piper.

Something happened in Wuhan (which apparently nobody cares to find out what) - and now other things are happening (which apparently nobody cares to find out why). If only Al Capone had such skills, he would have never been caught. HCQ is a bad word. Uhm. I think we've got more than words to worry about. At least we don't have any "peaceful" protesters here yet.

Condolences to his family and friends. It is sad to hear of his passing. This is the gentleman who gave us a bunch of advice back in 2013 about the upcoming VAT tax - sound advice - and I for one have been grateful that he did that. Blessings to his family.
