There should be some sort of regulation in place. In this way it promotes accountability and responsibility. There is no way that these hoodlums should be around to contaminate the beaches and harass unsuspecting visitors. Because of naivety visitors do trust them more than residents . Also the unsuspecting guest(s) may just want to have the experience. Something needs to be done because it could have been worse for the country and the young lady. I pray that she heals quickly and move on with her life. As for the country, it certainly does not need anymore negative exposure. I recommend that an agency be put in place to monitor these gangsters polluting the beach scene.

Ok so we have information and good reasoning of the bad behaviour (scientific or not) . What is next what do we do to help these people (single moms and their boys) which would by extension help society and the country at large. John may certainly be on to something!!!! I made the suggestion many years ago and so many 'leaders' jumped up and down saying its the not problem as they themselves were raised by single mothers. I still they they are wrong and we need to fix it.

This is not a mean statement, unfortunately it is the truth. It was a very old toy and servicing is questionable. How did they end up so far off. its a tragic and am so sorry for the loss of so many lives.

Seriously, what did you all expect..ie the government. Chinese have taken over the world. Trust me in a few years a true true bahamian as we know it, would be extinct. The employees and future employees at Bahama will be 90% chinese. They will find a way to bring in cooks, servers and cleaners. What will happen to Bahamians should be the question the politicians should ask before selfishly stuffing their pocket. Once you give the country away....its gone

Why are the animals allowed to roam the streets and wreak havoc on people's lives??

I hope the authorities take this seriously, other countries will follow in their efforts to keep their citizens safe while visiting the Bahamas.

When will it stop please? Who are the thugs going around shooting people and why, why are they doing it. For goodness sake what is becoming of the country? Have the thugs won over the authorities? seems so.

The residents of The Bahamas need to hold the government accountable. Until this is done, crime will continue to escalate ..... plain and simple and no telling who is next. The thugs are grabbing you from walking on the streets, riding your bikes, driving your cars, and invading your homes. What could be worst? Nothing will happen, no matter how much we talk, until the government looks at this seriously. Tourism is down. Warnings have been issued to countries not to visit the Bahamas, scholars are not returning home.. smh
