When the government gets serious, this will stop. Until there is fear in the perpetrators because of ramification, things will get worst before it gets better,
Well, someone said it right young black men should do whatever they can to avoid contact with the law. Am sorry for the young black man, but we should employ our youngsters, sons, brothers, nephews etcs to be aware of racial profiling and behave accordingly. The reality is that most of you would be afraid of a any person who is acting erratically. We can't be sure what happened, but he he was carjacking that is a criminal offence. Once you are in an 'obviously guilty' situation, no telling what could happen. Try to stay clean...away from drugs and crime.
If Haitian boats or sloop could come into the Bahamas undetected then the defence force is useless. Imagine if these people were coming to harm the Bahamian people, which is quite a possibility in the future. They have had lots of practice how to evade them. Has anyone even considered this possibility? Too many boats are coming in undetected...something stinks!!. Also if there were penalties...pure and simple 'applied penalties' for the captain(s), this practise would cease. The other day, someone pointed that the country will soon be taken over by Haitians, actually haitian made the prediction. Perhaps he knows what he is talking about. After all, they are becoming the most educated people, most ambitious, most outspoken; they support each other with that gang mentality and are the most resentful people in the bahamas.
Seriously? Do you think anyone will want to visit The Bahamas? Do you have any idea of how many people are choosing other 'safe destinations?" I think for now its over the country.
Some kind of action is definitely in order. Count me in!!! The dynamics are unreasonable!!! paying more for less. And then we look at the powers to be not paying their fair share and delving out the same favors for their friends. If we feel strongly about it, then a peaceful and I say peaceful protest is in order. Action speaks louder than words people.
He should shut up!!! because they do it too. Yes the PLP is probably more blatant for whatever reason, but trust me we all know that those two parties do it and its a crying shame that they get away with it over and over and repeatedly. At the end of the day they each point fingers instead of effecting real change or finding a solution. That man should be the last person to talk and the FNM will never ever win with him at the helm... sooner they realize that, the better
There are some questions that should certainly be asked about the degree, its recognition etc. Am not sure its victimization this time. We all need to check into the credibility of a university before we decide to enroll. I think there be more to this and when the truth comes out, lets see it for what it is.
