Close your eyes - Imagine Dion Smith as a white man and read this again replacing white or caucasian with black or negro. I have black friends!!!! LOL!!! This is laughable though but certainly not cause for resignation.

On the question of the lawyers conflict - There should also be the appearance of integrity something we are well aware is deficient in The Bahamas - Same people trading information, ideas and opportunities among themselves - It works well when your at the table - the majority of us, unfortunately are on the menu ......

They have found creative ways to increase their profits and benefit from the public - The increase on base price would seem reasonable after 17 years but I am more curious as to the many other charges that have been piled on during the same time frame. Reconnection fees, rental fees per month, per box, the cost of additional services and how these things weigh and measure against international best practice. I am not certain URCA has the wherewithall but glad that this process is happening -

WTF? Ms. Virgil! Did he meet with the Government - Did the religious tourism effort led by the Bishop endorse or support this effort and was there any courtesies extended by the Government of The Bahamas? i.e Greeted at the plane - bypassed scrutiny of security forces and treated as diplomats.....? We demand and deserve more from your efforts ....

I agree with much of your sentiments but believe that Ricardo Lightbourne (I think thats the surname) did a commendable job and was better than most of his regional counterparts -Actually he was the best of them and minus the horrible sound quality and delayed feed he was good - I didnt particularly enjoy Frank R. who kept forgetting the names of the participants and his colleagues at the table but agree that ZNS added no value to the coverage.

I am generally dissatisfied with the level of organization of the celebrations - Your glowing report does not include the poor level of attendance at most of these events - The 'Private' luncheon on Freeport that excluded the public and the disjointed efforts on behalf of the Government and the private sector in The Bahamas. Cotton Bay Road in Eleuthera was never named and had no sign, to name it after the fireman is a good gesture but I believe he is deserving of more - The boycott of persons that refused to donate the requested $100 per household to the purse for Firemen and the arguments about what street should have been named - I believe that this road to nowhere and hardly used was not the right choice - Perhaps taking the portion of the Queens Highway from the RSD Airport would have been more fitting (some food for thought)- The exclusion of the rest of the team was also a mistake - How better to show appreciation for the fledging and the veterans than to have events in their honour that included the full group - Arianna and her accomplishment is simply amazing and should have been equally celebrated - The private meetings (with Government) and awards (Held in secret from the public) is also a disappointment and could have been used as the ultimate incentive but we have no idea what they got and seemingly lack a full grasp of the magnitude of their accomplishment. I appreciate that we are a young country but look forward to better systems being put in place to reward and incentivize our modern day, national heros...........I appreciate these guys and proud of them!!! Lets do more!

Come on man - you must know how this looks? Even if it is or was true, to speak up after your dismissal makes you and the allegation less than credible. Your voice should have been heard while you were there and these crimes where being committed. I support the idea that you may have been victimized and fired because of affiliation but you gain nothing from unsubstantiated allegations after the fact..

Great point - In some countries they give concessions to manufacturers that make investment in alternative energy -ie Let these business get the inputs free (Solar/Wind) and give a concession based on the investment. The owners benefit in reducing their cost and hopefully the saving can be realized in producing more competitively which will have exponential benefit to the local population -
