Excellent article. This level of writing ranks with the best and it is a breath of fresh air to read every week and be enlightened of the "true facts"?.
Remember you PLP devotees when your party advertised all the killings on large billboards in prominent positions blaming the FNM and how when re-elected the crime problem would be resolved ? And you still believe in this corrupt and "me for all" party,
MInister of Education, taking or attempting to take a big share of the national pie whilst encouraging our children to work hard, get qualified to get jobs. Hypocrite.
Try the roads south from P Point to Rock Sound, there are holes big enough to break an axle and yet hundreds of thousands were spent clearing enough land to build a small city for the so called "mini hospital" and purchasing said land from our ex MP.
No improvements have been made to Hatchet Bay clinic, James Cistern clinic was renovated with public donations, the ambulance service and fire service is 100% operated by volunteers and with no government assistance. Clinics lack basic medical supplies--- election rhetoric.
This is our Minister of Education, preaching to our children about working hard, get qualified to get employment and a slice of the Bahamian pie when under the table he is attempting to use his position to take a bigger slice of the pie. A disgrace.
If it wasn't so serious you really have to laugh at these misguided PLP supporters shouting and getting so excited over these party hopefuls. Very few of them realise the dire financial straights that this country is in and only the PLP politicians and their cronies will be OK once the free tee shirts, chicken and beer stop flowing. Mind you Minnis would be well advised to hammer home time and time again how the taxes are hitting people where it hurts, how all these taxes leave little left over for spending, how frustrated the winter residents are becoming with the inefficiencies. Only two days ago a home owner tired of all the stupid overkill and documentation needed to license his car, was asked when he was leaving to which he replied "today if I had my way".How come all these public funds go missing but no-one is ever brought to account ?
