Like I said in the previous post, good education for ALL Bahamians. To think or suggest that I "not find fault with Lying Ryan" is a serious mis read or judgement on your part. I have not or never will take you or anyone's recommendation as it relates to my citizenship under any consideration whatsoever. What's amazing is, 100% of my post was for the bettering of The Bahamas and how WE are are being taken advantage of by outside influence and money, if for that reason am a loser, so be it. I am a husband, a father and choose to live where I desire. While I cannot and will not speak for JJSherman, I positively represent my country while I live simultaneously in the Bahamas & The US. Just to make it obviously clear, I DO NOT agree with Mr. Ryan's decision, personally, like here in the USA, this IS the problem with politicians! However, I was just highlighting why his departure from the financial services was a 'no brainer', this is what corrupt, selfish, capitalist politicians do! This is what the voters have to now seriously consider when voting, regardless of party color. When Bahamians start to think differently, become more knowledgeable, more educated etc, we do not need to renounce our citizenship, we should encourage other to think outside that narrow mindedness. I don't know who you are, however I can see by your username you have some passion for the 'smaller man', I do too, we may not live or speak or express or message the same, however, we seem to have something in common. We do not need a confrontational and offensive name calling, divide and rule is already present, we need togetherness.
The "chance of a lifetime" for Mr. Pinder was not really the money, it's becoming part of the Bahamas Shadow Government, Th secret movers & shakers of our economy. The Country's Untouchable Rich, Famous, Elites. This is obviously where he 'feels' he belong, Constituents in Elizabeth Estates was just the vehicle to get his foot in the door and to learn, copy, write etc all the rules from within the Bahamas Financial Sector. Let's be honest, 'It's the American way!' Money is power, but money and power equals the control of the majority, hence, the country. It's all part of Fascism. While Bahamians were dancing and celebrating and voting because of a political party's colors and not the issues or the person, this American man was being groomed by fellow Bahamian and foreign millionaires and Billionaires (yes with a 'B') into Bahamian politics. The General Bahamian public, the uneducated, heavily indoctrinated, the babymamas and daddies, the corrupt and connected politicians in BOTH major parties have not really grasp the mess we're (Bahamas) in. Not having a detail plan to use the funds from tourism and the SHAM "war on Drugs aka Black Men/Black Communities) from other countries to properly educate every citizen in the Commonwealth Of The Bahamas will be to our up and coming demise. We have been using funds from "the war on drugs" to lock up more and disenfranchise even more, who, eventually return to the same society 2 months later more disenfranchised, more angry and more street knowledge & Crime Connected! While, this is common in many countries especially the good ole US of A, it's all an illusion, Black men have never, and will never control the drug trade in any country! (including The Bahamas) Why? Because the return on the investment to too great! among many other things. We have been duped! now we are dealing with the crime and the mess while, this same drug is rapidly becoming legal both recreationally and medically in the same country we received millions from to kill, disenfranchise, imprison our young people and destroy our communities! The cannabis business, now semi- legal, appears to be 'just now' saturated by those with much, much lighter pigmentation, it has always been that way! (see the movie kill the messenger) i do not use drugs, legal or illegal, this is just my personal observation. the religious community in the bahamas is a failure on the war on drugs and education!!!! They are part of the problem, when citizen become 'too educated' Politically they are more difficult to control and spiritually their eyes are open to the truth about TODAY'S religion. I see many more like Mr. Pinder doing the same, it's the essence of fascism, sorry Capitalism.
From a Bahamian living in another country point of view, The Bahamas looks scary for me, a citizen to just visit, if tourist still coming, they must not read the Bahamian newspapers. All of what's going on is 40 years of substandard education to the majority, Political Corruption, Heavy religious indoctrination, lack of decent employment, and the list goes on and on. Now after 40 years in the wilderness, those that once ruled the majority has create a social engineering experiment to take back their lands: Gentrification is a general term for the arrival of wealthier people in an existing urban district, a related increase in rents and property values, and changes in the district's character and culture. The term is often used negatively, suggesting the displacement of poor communities by rich outsiders. guns, germs & money. Anyone thinking what am thinking, we brought CHINA on the door steps of usa, usa (The all knowing of everything illegal) floods The Bahamas with guns = Economic Assassination. (Youtube it, if you don't understand) Too much of a stretch? Regardless, the killing in Nassau especially is mindboggling! Desperate times call for desperate measures. Just checked the job ads a Gynecologist is needed in PMH, I wonder if B.J. Nottage wants to humbly fill that position instead, he may at least get a 'C job grade' rather than a 'FFF+ job grade' as Min of NS.
Whether you agree with his preaching or not, the world, especially The Bahamas have lost a visionary, a man of great influence throughout the globe! Like he recently said, we (The Bahamas) is currently in a transitional leadership period. We sometimes question situation and circumstances, why this had to be Dr. Myles? Can we trade him for 50 corrupt Bahamian politicians instead? Like him or not, Dr. Myles will live on for years and years to come. My Condolences to his family and BFM.
Respectively, While I sympathize with those who may have permanantly lost their employment, as a College Educated Bahamian living abroad, I understand. Tourism is a competitive industry, we (Bahamas) need "the best of the best" to be successful. I have applied for jobs before and those who do the interview or hiring seem to have some anamosity against us during the interview, if you are hired, many times, you are more qualified than your "superiors". and they know this and do not like it. It's all part of the corruption of "Who ya know, and not WHAT you know". Coming home and being paid lesser than working abroad sometimes can be understandable, however, after spending thousands of dollars in tuition and burning the midnight oil, being pressured to "dumb down" yourself simply because of the status quo is unacceptable! Any Bahamian employee who go to work for 5, 10, 30 or 40 years just to collect a paycheck and not educate themselves to current times NEED to feel at uneasy, This include those in Government too!! We are part of a globalized economy, Many of these DINO Politicians who make deals with these young, ivy league foreign graduates are getting "swing". as a nation we have not begin to see the true underbelly of today's capitalism in this globalized economy. The Future Of The Bahamas Is ALL Young People, Not Just Those Of The Corrupt Politicians and Their Cronies. Our young people need to know more than just "The Books Of The Bible" This is great, but what about countries (Like China) who do not care about your religion? The only 'religion' they see is money & power! And yes, like them or not, you will work for them (china's money) too! i predict, in 20 years if nothing changes (Educating All Bahamians), China will own more than 50% of our economy. #StartEducatingOurYouthsNotIndoctrinatingOurYouths

This influx of undocumented immigrants in The Bahamas is out of control immigrants must be stopped like the ebola virus. My fellow Bahamians, if, for political reason(s) ANY Governing Party Of The Bahamas, choose to discontinue this 'round up of illegal immigration process' vote him/her and their party out of office every single time!!!!! Then and only then will they FEEL how serious we as Bahamians take this vexing issue! this has gone on for too long! Sooner than later they will be the majority voters and will always vote for their own interest, This will then cause hundreds of thousands or even millions (Haiti's population is10,317,461 people) this will sink the bahamas as we know it! This is Compassion, Its wrong for us to take the rejects or the brightest Haitians/Jamaicans/D.R's etc from playing a critical part in developing their own country! This is looonnnggg overdue!!!!! 40 years late!! stop borrowing all these people money (imf, world bank etc) before we get screwed like jamaica, or like france is doing to haiti... Borrowing 'Those People' Money is a trick!!! lets keep trimming the unnecessary 'fat'. Immigration, Political Corruption etc before we all start running to Haiti for a better life!

Good Job! Now, where are the others who refuses to "drop their pants and bend over" for the sake of party politics, but have some self respect? Let's start this movement Bahamas, Bahamians support these men and women! they will be slaughtered in the media daily by party bandits, retiring or voting out at least 50% of politicians in both FNM and PLP including current PM and DPM! New, young leadership with bold 21st century ideas is what we need!
