If you have been paying attention the last few decades, who has been right? Some tree huggers are hypocrites. Most have been right regarding where we are now. It wasn't the conservative business class that lied us into this mess? We must be reading different publications. Try staying away from FOX News. There is an abundance of good science out there that has been spot on for many years. The heating of the planet is only a surprise to those who have had their head in the sand, or in their wallets.
What has The Bahamas done to modify our own behaviour? What have we done to educate our people? Yet, here we go again, with our hands out? The Carbon credits and associated programs are nothing but financing schemes. No matter how much money comes our way, the people will never see it. Just like before, just like now.
If we want to see the rot that the least of us must endure in this country, look no further. Show me a Christian here who reads and understands the bible. Can't do it, can you? The real danger to our country is the political class. That danger seems not to be noticed by the bible thumping gay haters. No wonder we don't want an educated populace. We might make progress towards becoming an enlightened country.
You sound like you should be on FOX News. Education is sorely needed. Blame the US for our problems here? Of course. Sad to see so very few educated Christians. The problem is the system. We have allowed the sociopaths to control the world's economy, including the airwaves, where you obviously get your childish talking points. The statistics are rather clear to anyone who puts in the hard work, not lazy, of reading. Clearly, you don't have the time, or desire, to do so. Do you really think Jesus wasn't a socialist? Are you really that untutored? Seems we graduate from high school and then Fox news takes over. We can mention the US for every of the many failures we have. Or, we can be honest and do the hard work to fix them. Clearly, you have no interest in improving The Bahamas, som.
Is everyone in The Bahamas happy with their phone and internet service? BTC should be in court for fraud. Anyone making statements so absurd as those in the above article should go back to grade school. URCA is a useless organization. Useless. 5G? Go 5G yourself.
Nice article, pretty words, but the only thing holding Bahamians back are Bahamians in our own government. Some, conveniently fail to see this, or can't see it. Though the statistics are there for all to see.
I applaud those who are willing to speak out on our creep towards all out slavery. We are all economic slaves now. Soon, all, of what little privacy we have left, will be gone. The poorest and the ones who had little to do with the current condition will pay the highest price. Defining our rights does not bring justice. Freedom should be rather clear. That's why there always has to be an emergency and an enemy. Nowadays, the messenger is the enemy.
