The police are helpless. We have fostered a nation that seems unable to parent decent kids.
The police come from this population. We continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel, wondering why we see the results on a daily basis.
And then, with a national deficit in education, we are left scratching our heads over what to do.
This is predictable, and will not change until we achieve a literate population of caring adults.
We are a few generations away from that goal, if achievable.
Get used to the violence, it is here to stay for a while.
If we had an educated group of leaders who cared about their country, it would be a good start. But, we don't.
They like to fly around to other countries, eating and drinking on the taxpayers dime, talking trash and who knows what else.
