Porcupine says...

Why is Mr. Gibson still in Parliament?

Porcupine says...

This is not happenstance. There is a level of impunity that far exceeds the global norm. From top to bottom, there is a high level of corruption that pervades our entire country. Entire. One would like to think it is just rank incompetence. But, think again.

Porcupine says...

"....even though all the evidence is now publicly available in the US court system, all the police would have to do is read the file. Nothing."
Perhaps we should wonder how many in the police department can read at all.

Porcupine says...

You're thinking exactly like they want you to think. A citizen, rather than a human being. Socrates was a thinker.

Porcupine says...

I don't think they care.
I believe they have already gotten what they want, and now it is a matter of covering their getaway.

Porcupine says...

First you have to have those with the brains, will, and ethics to change it.
Virtually our whole nation has its hand in the cookie jar.
And, those at the top, in positions of power, are the head of the fish, that has already rotted completely.
And, you are right, until we have the political will to start firing people, nothing will change.

Porcupine says...

How do we raise, or not raise, so many young people who have no respect for life, or anything else for that matter?
Yes, Mr. Munroe, it's all about not telling people where the judges park.
Want to know what the real problems are?
I guess not.

The Tribune notes, "n addition to his notable legal and political career, Mr Lockhart is a former chairman of Nassau Flight Services, the Gaming Board of The Bahamas and the Police Inspectorate.all of his associations.".
Stellar choices in character we continue to make, hey?

On Lockhart appears on Interpol red notice

Wow. And we wonder how we should keep people coming to these shores?
Perhaps we should allow Tourism to continue to pretend like we have decent kind and friendly Christians living in The Bahamas.
They're doing a good job in fooling the rest of the world, so far.
Wow. You scared of these people? Insecure with your own sexuality perhaps?
Like I say, education is more than job training.
Some education in this country would go a long way.

Porcupine says...

Inexcusable!
Inexcusable.
We have a corrupt government.
From the top to the bottom.
There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behaviour.
This goes to show that the police will protect nobody except those at the top.
They will kiss those butts until the cows come home.
Just blind obedience, with their big guns, because they have no brains or balls.
The PM is a total loser for allowing this to happen.
If he were a man he would............. Forget it, he ain't no man.
Sad day for The Bahamas. I hope the rest of the world gets to see how jokey we've become.
Worse, no shame. None of them. The PM will talk trash as he usually does.
