All countries that make it hard for employers to fire their staff have a high unemployment rate, as is already the case with the Bahamas. What you will see is that employers will hire mostly employees on short term contracts. Try getting a mortgage on a short term contract. This will further impoverish Bahamian society

Nobody will buy Atlantis with these conditions and nobody will build a new hotel. It's a global world and there are better choices for foreign investors..

There is no justification what so ever to pay union fees if you don't join a union.

"raising the redundancy cap to 24 months". This is ridiculous. I don't know of any other country where this exists. Nobody will want to start a new company or hire staff in this country and unemployment will explode. Nice program...

Hmmmm another case of someone watching too much CNN. Fake news comes from the liberal media. Conspiracy theories such as the collusion hoax come from democrats, as does the fear and anger. Since Trump was elected democrats refused to accept him as a legitimate President, and attempted to depose him. That was their unique program for four years. Other than being anti-Trump they had no nothing to show. We can see today with the Afghanistan debacle that they have no clue what they’re doing.
