Small wonder Baha Mar is in the dire straights it finds itself in today.....choosing to lie in bed with the Chinese as financiers and an equity partner may have been Mr. Z's fatal mistake from day one! Mr.Z unfortunately did not appreciate the extent to which the coziness of the Bahamas government with Chinese government controlled corporations would piss off (as you say) the U.S. government. Roles are about to be reversed for reasons of U.S. National Security Interests: The Bahamas will become the Cuba of yesterday and Cuba will become the Bahamas of old in the eyes of the still mighty U.S.A. Our dumb schmuck politicians have no appreciation whatsoever for what's currently being played out on the global stage in our hemisphere as a result of their corruptibility and failed foreign policies!

Let's also not forget that the alleged politically connected man who commissioned the murder of Hywel Jones (at least in the eyes of the court of public opinion) is also still living and walking around among as an uncharged free man.

You have Allyson Maynard-Gibson to thank for the revolving door at Fox Hill Prison. Right now though, she's much too busy trying to keep John Boswick from spending even one full day in Fox Hill Prison. It would seem the serious charges against Boswick for the illegal possession of firearms ammunition is about to be dismissed thanks in large part to the way in which Allyson Maynard-Gibson runs the AG's Office. As AG, she seems to be doing a better job at defending Boswick than his own defense counsel is capable of doing!

To the Editor of The Tribune: Please refrain from showing pics of Christie fondling his pinky ring as these pics give many of us the heebie-jeebies! Thanks.

Ergo the business relationship between the gas station operator and the distributor of the gasoline/diesel product is defacto one between a principal and its agent.

Ergo, the holding tanks at the gas station are for all intents and purposes an extended part of the distribution system of the distributor of the gasoline product. The technical expertise for maintaining the holding tanks and complying with any relevant safety standards should remain with the distributor of the product which raises a number of interesting questions as to who should properly have the insurable risks associated with the holding tanks.

This guy Bastian has been fronting for years now for Bahamian and foreign mobsters who choose to remain in the shadows. Our PLP and FNM politicians have long suspected this to be the case but it was not until recently that the Canadian banks have managed to get this confirmed through their own series of investigations into the ownership of the illegal online gaming activities in the Caribbean/West Indies region.

The U.S. and other creditors going after Julian's hide would be crazy to pursue their claims through Bahamian liquidators and Bahamian lawyers in the Bahamas courts. They would be much better served getting the judgements they need against Julian in the U.S. legal system and then proceed to have the U.S. Navy seal team based in Andros bring him to the U.S. by helicopter in the stealth of night.

Large cracks at key stress points upon settling of the huge structures due to the slightest of ground shifts will be the first tell tale of trouble to come.
