The courts and the government seem to be actually working against the people in this area. The government simply watches shanty towns grow out of the ground (with no permits) and then once they are big enough start to survey what's going on. And then they go to the courts who stop the government from doing anything because they can't present a strong case. Just when did The Bahamas turn into a backwards nation for sale?
So he knows that these still recovering economies are going to have to pay $40-$50 million MORE dollars to the government if they want to continue rebuilding? And how does he think that a devastated island is going to recover with that sort of additional overhead? Surely it would be better to help these people rebuild quickly so that the government can start collecting this revenue plus more?
We Mr. Munroe if you and the police and the courts didn't get all of these murderers off on technicalities then the rate would probably be significantly less. You all know they did it but because the police purposefully involves a green or corrupt cop of the case, knowing he/she will mess something material up, whether by accident or on purpose, then this is what we ALL have to live with.
Well the next installment of Crypto Bahamas scheduled to be held in April will be VERY interesting. Perhaps SBF could value the tickets for say $50 million each?
Oh boy. She's standing against her party, the 'christian' council and the majority of Bahamian women. Good for you Leslia for standing up for what is right.
Perhaps we could just remove all of the violent criminals, who have been found guilty, from this earth? That should make plenty or room. Why the need to house rapists and murderers and attempted murderers. They are sick animals who should be put down for the orderly running of a country. Their cadavers can be used by medical students and maybe we can learn something about their brains that made them so disgusting.
