Incompetence has cost all of us an additional $150million is living costs. That's just great. The PLP supporters seem to be more than happy with this for some strange reason. Perhaps they get extra income while their party is in power. The rest of the country however has to suck up this huge additional living expense. It's weird how PLP's don't complain about their electricity bill while the PLP are in power but they complain to no end when the FNM are in power and their electricity bills are lower. Insanity or stupidity?
Now when he says government revenue beat targets by $50 million. Is that personal revenue for government officials or does he mean really mean revenue deposited in the people's consolidated account?
Speaking about approval's of large developments. When are the annual declarations due for MP's? Do MP's ever include the amount they have in say... a personal safe, as part of their declaration?
I am really curious as to why they are 'eager to return'? What about that post is attractive? Seriously. It is, and has been, a war zone. Is there good food and entertainment still going on in the area of the embassy or their homes? I can't imagine there being much free time or ability to explore the country. Also, they mention gathering intelligence. Personally I would down play this aspect, as there are gangs involved with the transportation of Haitians by boat to The Bahamas. If they suspect you guys are actually affecting their business... be careful.
Never. The PLP on want power for personal game. What they achieve for the people and in what economic condition they leave the country is NEVER a consideration. Since Pindling's time, their party has only gotten greedier and more incompetent. Pindling and Ingraham were the only two visionary leaders that had the people in their heart.
Have they ever mentioned the Haitian sloops when they talk about fire arms? I mean there are well armed Haitian gangs in Haiti and there are well armed Haitian gangs in Nassau. Logically there is a connection. And I don't hear of any Haitian sloops being caught heading to Haiti from the Bahamas which makes me suspect that the fire arms used by the gangs are coming this way not that way.
They only go after the places and people that aren't contributing directly to their back pocket. There's just too much cash flowing from these shanty towns.
SMT!!! No new taxes they say, then they put VAT on breadbasket items. No new taxes they say, then they increase real property tax. No new taxes they say, while they speak about increasing the cost of health insurance by reducing the VAT exemption for insurance companies. No new taxes they say, while they speak of needing to increase NIB contributions. Lying two faced jokers!! Enjoy your 'no new taxes' you PLP voting fools.
And now they want us to sit quietly while they 'deal with the issue'. These jokers have some nerve. They carried on like drunken sailors at a whore house in opposition and now all they say is 'shhhhh'.
